I really like his answers; basically everything he said was just right.

Someone asked the same question when Fruitdealer said he gave most of his money to his parents.

The answer was that koreans have a lot of respect for their parents, because their parents are mainly the reason they are there by supporting the player and encouraging him to pursue the pro gaming career.

It's not only Koreans, but alot of Asian cultures in general. It's a sign of respect. Your parents gave you their time and cash to raise you. Only makes sense to return the favor. Either way, when they pass, that money is inherited by you again, so you get it back.

Marineking is surprisingly humble for someone who's really cocky about his marine control. Good interview.

Interesting read, thank you! He makes an interesting point about balance being heavily dependent on the 1v1 map pool and spawning location. Also, I will keep a closer eye on MVP in upcoming Code S.

Seriously, this isn't an Asian thing. Eastern Europe has similar stuff going on.

You are expected to take care of your parents when they reach old age, if you win prize money, unless you are some gigantic a***** you are expected to share with your family.

Not to start a fire here, but I think NOT doing stuff like that is something only U.S./Western Europe does.

Every time I see an interview I like this guy a little more, and now I'm always sure to watch his matches because he is amazing. He seems to be such a nice guy with an even temper and very respectful, it's hard not to like someone like that lol plus he looks super adorable in that pink sweatshirt.

I also think that if you're a progamer you're either young or busy and your parents are like your pseudo managers. Your parents aren't gonna go on spending sprees, they'll probably invest it for you or hold onto it for you. God knows you wouldn't do the investing yourself practicing 10 hours a day as a kid.
