And I still want him to go back to his old ID, Clare.

If you don't know the history behind him, you definitely won't think that Foxer = Fake Boxer, you'll think Foxer = one who foxes, guaranteed. I'd probably vote it over Fauxer, but don't kid yourself; first time people see the ID their mind's eye will immediately see this: ![]() If we're going for the fox angle here, then by all means. But if you want to mix the words Fake + BoxeR, why not do it in a way that doesn't suggest foxes? FakeR, FakexeR, FaxeR, FakxeR all combine Fake + BoxeR better than FoxeR does.

Faux isn't pronounced as fox. It's French and pronounced foh. Foxer makes much more sense because Fake + Boxer = Foxer

I really don't understand this mindset. Why can't people here be satisfied with a name we know means Fake Boxer? Why does the name have to be an attempt to hammer it into the minds of everyone who hears it? The fact that FoxeR has other interpretations is a good thing, in my opinion. And I've already written about all the other reasons why I think it is a better name. Anyway, is anyone doing a real translation of his FoxeR interview?
