The worst part will be the getting home and waiting for the patch to download... It was like that when I got my key @ work. Getting all exited and having to wait till the next day before everything was finished downloading...
Time to open up the MPQ files and scour for unit updates!

BTW Can someone who has already downloaded the patch load up SC2Tools and see if there are any unit changes? Doesnt SC2Tools read the data from the latest patch?
|
Or you can do what I did:
set patchlist eu-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch ;set patchlist us-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch
And then when you have it downloaded just switch it to:
;set patchlist eu-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch set patchlist us-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch

You aren't downloading an EU patch though, you're using the EU server to update the US client, the same way that a European person would be able to patch US and EU clients respectively through their own EU server.

Important note: You can't access the galaxy editor any more!! It requires you log into battle.net with this new client. So this means we can't play custom maps while b.net is down!!!
Editors out there, don't download it yet!

Editors out there, don't download it yet! Perhaps meaning they will be keeping beta up till release?

"you are trying to login using a client version not recognize by the battle.net service" Error pops up when i double click my SC2, no patching what so ever, i have the US beta btw

Interesting how the wow weekly maintenance got delayed today unexpectingly, right after it comes online, sc2 beta is also availible for download.
My speculation goes with some real-id implementation fixing.

Battle.net is down for maintenace.. Why are they doing this to us

I had to manually reinstall recently. Now I can't even get a launcher to come up, just launches SC2 with the backround screen(BCs flying) and no long in screen. How do I get to the launcher?
|
Erm, is it actually going to go up tho?
I mean we can dowload the patch, but the servers aren't up, what's to say they won't stay down anothwe week?
