I don't think so, they are getting ready to release sc2 which means there will be millions of nerds spamming their servers, if they can't handle few thousand 3 weeks before the release it's bad

iuno... theyre prolly not using their real servers they intend to use when the game releases... i could totally be wrong. theyre probly using only some of them, or w/e. beta : release is like... 1:20?? something like that. i dont think theyd use their whole server power for beta.

For some reason my sc2 application will start and end up in a black screen. But there are 2 processes in the sc.exe name. If i cancel the smaller of the processes it will bring up a loading screen and then when it gets to main screen and it shuts off. I've reinstalled several times and I still get the same result.

On that note maybe they put the patch out to get ready for release testing, guess which Version is on the DVDs now? Just a thought.

They said they are using this to simulate a launch, so would it not make sense to hype and hype and hype and then release at like 5 PST or so, when the majority of the US is out of work?

i guess. i dont think theyll overload their servers, i think they just dont want to have their matchmaking get tested that hard, etc, and if there is any problems it will be that many more affected users, that much more bnet forum flooding, calls, or w/e.

i hope its up in 2 mins, that would be sweet/
