Nah, I saw a decent replay with a guy from the old plat called Moo and he only had 40 - 80 APM. He recently beat IdrA, I think the replay is in the replay thread although I haven't seen it. Having said that many on this site would argue to the death that it is the be all and end all of a player.

And yes, US seems to be down, so does certain parts of the blizzard beta site (if you attempt to post it says the site is down for maintenance).

Yeah EU seems to be fine. Only bug I see is the black minimap bug while watching replays, but the servers are very stable and it's very much playable right now.

They removed the notice about the lag issues on the American servers, and it seems sort of stable now. Hopefully it stays this way

Well, i will not make another thread on my problem so im posting it here. Since yesterday, im unable to play cause im getting a crash when i fill my password and click login. Its like this:

In this thread he said its some kind of firewall/antivirus that is preventing the game to connect properly. But it was working fine before and my firewall is OFF. Does anyone have the same problem or any advice?

What does the blizzard crash dump say exactly? (The thing where you can send blizzard an email about the crash, you might have to scroll down a little bit.) I also had a crash when pressing the login button after updating to patch 13. The reason was, that my Battle.net-patch.MPQ got corrupted. I could solve the problem by reinstalling SC2 and downloading all the patches again. In my case, the crash dump explained the problem very detailed.

Thanks for the fast reply. I tried rebooting (my first try off course). Im trying to reinstal the game, but its taking a huge time cause some patches are too big. Im not at home, so i cant copy/paste the exact error here. I hope the reinstall will solve the problem, but i have read sooooo many threads where it doesnt help at all. But it was something like this:

The linked crash is an access violation: ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
This means due to some bug in the code (either blizzard or reused 3rd party code), the programm uses memory that it is not supposed to use. To prevent any damage, e.g. corrupting any documents you might have corrently open, your operating system stops the execution of the process - in your case SC2.
An access violation can be caused by many many problems (blizzard code bug, 3rd party drivers, corrupt files or memory ...), but if it can be reproduced, a reinstall is usually your best chance to solve it.

In my case, the problem was clearer, e.g. file xyz is corrupt / cannot be extracted, etc. and can for sure be solved with a reinstall.

At beginning i thought it was something related to bnet being unstable, but now i think its really related to the firewall/ports problem. I have search the bnet forums for some answers but all posts related to this have no solution. The game does freeze for some seconds (10 or 15) before the crash occurs. Perhaps trying to connect or something.

Aside from one 10-15 second freeze (that eventually unfroze without dropping anyone) I played for a few hours this afternoon (EST) and had no problems on US.
