if you are not getting patched and getting the error "You are trying to login using a client version that is not recognized by battle.net" This is what worked for me, i have no idea why: restarted, closed all anti-virus, windows defender, firewalls, anti-maleware software etc opened internet explorer > tools > internet options > connections > LAN settings > make sure automatically detect settings is checked and proxy server is unchecked worked for me and i just patched, i have no idea if this actually fixed it or not. such is bnet | ||
