You should hold something like a pylon art contest like Matt and Steve did a little while back. This way, it actually takes some skill to win and you could make some really cool videos on it.

I'd prefer something more creative for a competition as well, but it kind of stinks to be in the position of "Hey guys, sorry about this, but I'm going to do a completely new competition. Sorry for those of you who already posted stuff on other sites etc." I'd say stick with this because you already started it and maybe in the future if you get this opportunity to do it again, do something different.

I think you're on the "Similar Channels" page. When you subscribe to HDStarcraft, it shows your account and a few other SC channels. It's like a 'Related Videos' thing but for channels. So it could kind of confuse people if they're not to familiar with youtube other than watching videos.

What's with all these people hosting beta key contests where subscription to their youtube channel is the only way to enter? Is there anything wrong with participants just PM'ing their entry or posting in this thread to participate? No...
I've lost trust in these types of contests ever since oversky's (perfectionistemblem) contest being a dud and not mentioning anything.

If I recall correctly, HD also had one of those contests a while back, regarding subscriptions and a possible beta key, but obviously nothing came out of it, due to the fact that BlizzCon had no beta key.
Might have been a nice gesture to reward his old subscribers who signed up for his previous contest a beta key that he now owns, as opposed to trying to basically pull the same contest twice.

How hard is it to subscribe to a channel? And why wouldn't you want to subscribe to a Starcraft 2 related channel? I mean if his channel was about something completely unrelated then yeah it wouldn't make much sense, but subscribing to his channel isn't something crazy for him to ask.

Consistency. I dont think there is much wrong with it, but if the other guy is going to get closed I will close this one too.
We have a thread for giving away the keys. Please use that one if you wish to simply give them away.
In the future, because you are a content creator, please talk to the TL staff before creating these threads. It is important to have a relationship with the staff of the site that you are using to prevent misunderstandings rather than just using a site for your own gain. If people followed basic etiquette we would not have 10% of the problems we do.
