Team Jaedong vs Team Effort in the next round?

Too bad the rest of the CJ players are so much better than the rest of Oz.

yeah this is getting ridiculous

CJ effort vs lecaf jaedong = entire PL GF

i feel bad for khan.. they actually pulled it together to be beaten by a single player.

but thats the advantage of having an out of this world player on your team.

The thing that killed KHAN was the Outsider-Outsider ace matches imo.

Of course, if fbh hadn't royally screwed up, or if Juni were competent (and B-team Movie had shown up again) this wouldn't have been a problem, but when KHAN let it go to ace after a 3-1 lead...

What's funny is that Khan had 4 chances to take the whole thing

And CJ had to win all 4 games

CJ still won

what are you talking about coming through

kwanro went 0-2 against miracle
iris went 1-1 losing the first time to ODIN
much went 0-2
movie went 1-1

even precious skyhigh (whom i really like actually) went 1-1

then you have effort who goes 4-0. HMMM youre right the rest of CJ really "came through." basically their team scraped together 2 wins without effort and effort did the rest.

fuck that. effort did literally everything

savior mentor. It's weird how effort can take savior style and make it work so well in the present strategy pool.

I'd really like to see how he matches up with Bisu as the savior style is supposed to be countered by his play.

Man...Stork had that game

2 reasons why he lost

1) At the near end, he shouldn't have wasted his army to try to go through those 7 sunkens. Its not worth it, he should have committed more to drops or maybe even recall

2) The map let you get 3/4 gas easily which means Z can just protect its nat (which Effort made 7 sunks) and get free gas. Free gas for Zerg = Ultralings and hive tech

I swear, Stork had this game..damn

While Stork was in a decent position for a while, point one really does not stand, unfortunately.

1) Drops or recall were not possible. By the time Stork had any sort of ground army strong enough to hold the middle, he no longer had a large fleet of Sairs and Effort was already patrolling the hell out of his side of the map with Muta and Scourge. A drop would have been far too risky with Effort's focus on air at the time and would also have delayed the Obs, which were needed by that point to survive the Lurker switch.

Recall would have been completely impossible for both the aforementioned air issue and because Stork was never ahead economically in a way that would have allowed him to throw time, resources, and Starport production into Arbiters. He could not have maintained a Sair force or kept his ground army at the same strength had he done this sort of a tech, and at the point of the game it might have been possible he would have been giving Effort time to tech into Ultra/Defiler anyway, so it would have had little effect and could have actually been quite detrimental.

He could've just camped outside Efforts base and teched to storms and reavers. That game was over and Stork deserved to win that one because he played much better. Effort had nowhere to expand and was getting behind in bases and his army was much smaller. On open ground he would never been ableto defeat Storks army.

Actually, effort was quite ahead. Even if stork didn't suicide his army, all effort had to do was do a 3 pronged defiler/ling drop on stork and stork would have died. Drop on the main, drop on the expo, and drop on the nat. Stork's biggest mistake imo was expanding on the wrong side of the mineral line. If he had that 3rd gas, he could have spent it on sairs AND templar instead of just sairs.

His "secret" is that he's playing Khan. Great isn't a ZvZer, stork's PvZ, in terms of S-classness is horrible, and Jangbi is is just a few notches above stork. FBH was the only one who was good vs zerg and he is in a huge slump right now.

and how did effort get to go 4-0? Remember he played 2 Ace matches so he went 2-0. Iris and Movie both won clutch games and Iris's lost to Odin was very close. Come on get the fuck out with that bullshit. Lemme guess Effort single-handedly won last week too right? thought so.

He's pretty good, but he's not good enough to beat Effort, which is both a credit to Effort and a blow to Great. It's pretty obvious why that's a credit to Effort, but it's also a blow against Great because 6 zerglings vs 9 drones without the aid of stacking should be autowin. Even with Effort level micro, and great blew it. After that, Effort played a tight game in both their matches and won pretty handily.

Effort was 2-0. Without the other wins there is no Ace match. Where were you last week? This Effort - JD bandwagon needs to stop. You guys are so dumb :/

hahaha ace is completely missing the point

the only "clutch" non effort CJ wins were iris>fbh and movie>Juni. The other wins that CJ had that contributed to them advancing over khan were entirely win by effort, which he had 3 of. How can you argue that he didnt carry the team?

umm yeah i agree thats kinda what I was saying. Great totally blew it when he had that BO win on heartbreak. Great still has pretty good ZvZ, but Effort is pretty much untouchable outside of JD in the matchup
