Yellow tried for 2 hatch mutas, but Lomo decided to go for a 1 base fast pressure on Yellow. He takes out Yellow's natural hatchery, and Yellow tries to go big air. It fails because Lomo got wraiths and got 2 dropships to pwn Yellow's third and fourth expansions.
3 Hatch Mutas on God's Garden for Killer while Cloud went for the bio mech build. Killer did a great harass anyway, and started pwning off of 3 gas. Cloud tries to move out and gets destroyed by a great flank from Killer. Killer pushes into Cloud's natural and ends it once a defiler comes for swarm support.
considering JD is once again debugging his ZvZ before any major league finals, im hoping he gets the kinks out of his system and wins tonight. the rest i hope ACE wins except for cloud... the guy's not impressive imo.
*edit* Oversky takes a seriously weird amount of time to GG. He has no drones, no spire, no lings, and even sees JD's tons of drone and waits 20+ seconds to GG
Did I see that right: Someone from behind the curtain tickled JD's face that made him giggle like a child? We might be having a reason for that "slump"?:-p

exactly man... oversky did have a lot of lings but most of them were at the back while JD flanked him... bloody map = beautiful...

Fast vessel is one of the best ways to counter 2hat.
Lomo going for an old school sunken break with 2 racks no exp. Problem is, Yellow is old school and knows perfectly. Lomo goes back to his base to defend against mutas

The vessel isn't fast enough. Too slow.
And Lomo is now going for some sort of fast contain on Yellow.
Yellow is building 2 more staggered sunks to compensate.
Hmm, ok ACE will lose, their only chance was to win this 3 - 1, it's not like they have someone that can beat JD during ace match, if ever it'll get there.

I'm not really sure what he was trying to achieve with guards, he can't exactly defend all his bases with slow moving guards. The science vessels did a lot of damage to him as well.

Good strategy. But what really irks me is the fact that Yellow continued to employ such a strategy when it clearly was ineffectual. What about a tech switch or something? What about bringing up the scourge count instead of building mutas which morphs into devourers?
Killer pushes into Cloud's main, and Cloud really has nothing to push these 2 lurkers back. He has a tank sieged on the ridge, and irradiates another, but more are coming in. Cloud is forced to lift at the natural and 2 scourge snipes the vessel. Cloud has to gg soon, especially once defilers are out. And there's one at the scene.
darn... I really wanted to see jaedong in ace match ;p. So tired of people saying he is slumping... or how he got raped by effort. One game he did 12 hatch effort did 9 pool.... the other was close game.
Hwaaaaseung! good way to end the round! I would like to see this killer guy play some better opponents to see if he's actually got some potential, would love to see some changes in Oz..
