Iris containing MVP with his double shop mass tank, since MVP played 1 shop. Both taking their 3rds. MVP's tanks died, 5 tanks from iris hitting on MVPs front nat.
MVP pulls scvs and cleans up the tanks. As iris is pure tank right now.
i dont think that mvp made a mistake letting iris scout his main in the early game, because iris clicked the scout on the minerals of mvp, so it was impossible for mvp to block the entrance :/
the scv go trough, not because mvps scv was badly placed!! iris sent a scv on mvps minerals just before his first scv died, that way he went straight trough.
Imo MvP played gread the first game. The first marine from Iris changed that game so much. Gave Iris the advantage from the start, during the first push, all mvps tanks fired the marine. and they got screwed by Iris. from that moment on MvP was behind after loosing all those Scvs. This 2nd game MvP did the right choises and his harrass was exellent!

They do take quite a long time between matches, and then they have the whole pre-game prep stuff, too. It's like over a half hour before the 2nd set even starts.
I think part of it is all of us skipping to the beginning of the stream. Obviously a sufficient buffer would smooth things out a bit, but WE NEED TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON NOW
yea, it actually starts up at one spot. and you have to forward it to the game. now its 5mins or so. back to where they show the stats of Zero. and its still skipping and lagging.

Zero makes a small number of lings as he continues to pump drones. No gas. Only 2 lings.. while he takes the 3rd base. Pure econ. Basically makes the early pool to "force" forge and hopefully 1 cannon.

Because of zeros low number of lings P has a really fast sair timing. No plus one but an early citadel is pretty easy so obviously hes planning to mass sairs as he responds to the spire. Then go dt to harass and hopefully take his 3rd while hes doing that.
I think zero let him scout the spire and is just going to make scourge from it and transition into hydras and later lurk with some lings.

NIce storming with just one templar. So effecient. Lots of drones lost..good defense but tempest is way ahead still. Zero targeted the temp with a sunk nicely but it didnt really change much..get over it daniel
P has a sizeable evenly mixed army of zeal/goon with 2 temps and 2 sairs.
Tempest seems to engage a too large zerg army. GREAT FLANKING. But the P is too large. Still the zerg almost comes out even. The third is up but tempest seems to be struggling with multitask. Zero really is playing great dispite the rough start.
Wow tempest moves into a group of lurks but a full control group of goons runs over the army after the armies trade. Tempest with a huge army...gates pumping hes rolling over the hydras without storm. The 3 base zerg, not suprisingly, finally crumbling to the 3 base toss. Tempest moves into the zerg nat, after some storms, zero ggs.
this map is turning to be exactly the opposite as it was thought in the beginning, I remember many ppl said when the map was introduced that it will be zvp friendly because of all the ridges and the possible lurker contains

First sair out, scourge not out fast enough as one lord dies just before the spire hatches. Zero has a "hidden" 4th base. Starting another hatch and an evo. Second overlord dead..looks like the first ovie going down. Wow wtf zero.. He lets 2 freaking dts in his base. Those 2 ovie kills were huge. Zero needs to work on his timing.

Zerg adding sunks. Zero is actually in pretty good shape. But just as a say that t A BIG ATTACK. The sunks morph barely in time. But tempest gets in. Nice target firing on the archons . The archons go down and zero is barely able to take out the reenforcements with mutas and lings. Drones were killed

Zer o moves out with his muta to harass. tempest has a fucked up rally point and loses a temp. Zero looking to muta micro to kill probes but 3 sairs are there. Tempest has a third base. Hes playing really well. But zero has 4. Nice sair micro to shake the scourge.

Zeros late timing through out the game cost him big. He was always one step behind starting from the late spire that came after the first ovie was killed. The killed ovie delayed the scourge which allowed a second ovie kill delaying the scourge even longer. This allowed dts to slip in easily which allowed the first zealot push to do damage. From there on every attack applied more and more pressure. Great play by tempest.

First of all, you over think things.
Secondly, SDM's second language is english, so social undertones you think are telling signs of personality could just be considered, 'the thought process and attitude' of someone who is not speaking their primary language.
Thirdly, you seem to be under the impression that SDM has more pull in GOM than tasteless, which we don't know to be true. Tasteless is a career caster that got hired by GOM not an experiment. Tasteless has the job, this is the 3rd season of the GOM classic with english commentary plus several other tournaments where tasteless has been on the pay roll. The majority have not involved SDM in any way...
Fourthly, Blizzard are now a large part of what GOM does, and blizzard has been using tasteless long before GOM picked him up.
I think you are constructing this delicate situation in your head, there is just as much evidence that you are completely wrong.
Edit: In conclusion, GOM should be using artosis and tasteless as their primary english casters.

Flash vs Shuttle - I really like both players, but Shuttle has to be my favorite player, and as the players recently met, I'm sure that if Shuttle were to come out on top, it would me a lot to him.
sKyHigh vs July is actually the match I'm least excited about, though sKyHigh is probably my favorite CJ player. I think that he has a ton of talent, he's just been really[ sloppy lately, in the games that I've seen. That said, I'll still be cheering for sKyHigh.
Jaedong vs Much - Of course I think Jaedong will take it, but who doesn't love Grandpa Toss?
Violet vs EffOrt - Two players who have been excellent lately. I think this will be a beastly set, hopefully with EffOrt coming out on top.
Jaedong vs EffOrt (hopefully) - They met not too long ago, and they're meeting again soon. One or two games doesn't necessarily determine the better players, so a boX (is ro8 5, or still 3?) is exciting. Hoping EffOrt, but sadly I think Jaedong is still the better player at the moment.
Iris vs Tempest - I really like Iris, and Tempest has been the underdog almost this entire tourney. If they had met in the Ro16, I would have given it to Iris without a doubt, but I think Tempest could definitely put up a fight.

How can you root against July zerg, I'm pretty sure that is punishable by death in a few countries.
His ZvT is pretty awful, but hes also mother fucking July. It does seem that when hes motivated hes the best player on earth, TBH he seems pretty burned out these days.

I just watched the Tempest vs Zero series and it was pretty weird. Before, especially in the beginning of season 2, It would be really exciting to watch GOM regardless of who was playing cause it was really cool to hear Tasteless commentating. Today... it was like Tasteless and SDM on Prozac or something. I guess it might be this (commentating) getting more and more a daily routine for them and I guess it's probably us, the audience as well, cause it's not as exciting hearing english casting of progames as it was a year ago... It would seem like the magic slipped away a bit
Also, why do none of the Season2 videos work anymore? I was gonna watch Free vs Savior game 2 for some nostalgia but none of them work... Do they work for anyone else?
