Do you really not know what GTR's talking about? Bisu completely opened himself up to getting sealed off by Jangbi's Probes by charging in. He could have traded shots with Jangbi and baited the Probes into the fight, at which point you can back away from the Probes while taking potshots, and then Jangbi's Probes are blocking his own Dragoons from moving forward to hit Bisu's Dragoons. Probes are only an advantage in a fight if you let them get position - otherwise they're just a wall to be picked off between two armies that can't get to each other because one is retreating and picking off Probes. Bisu probably didn't expect Jangbi to have been rolling 4 Gateways as well and so he figured he could power his way through the Probes, but it was an unnecessary risk and poorly handled. Stop thinking about the Bisu-Jangbi fight from the moment Bisu got Probe surrounded and start thinking about it from 5 seconds before. Of course by the time Bisu went in there's no amount of micro that could save him, the whole point was that he opened himself up to that risk when there were better ways to handle those 5 seconds leading up to the fight. At the very minimum, he didn't have to make it TRIVIAL for Jangbi's Probes to get such good position. I was wholeheartedly rooting against Bisu in that game but there's no denying he played that fight poorly, making it easy for an elite player like Jangbi to seize the huge opportunity that was given to him.

yeah, I'm serious On June 11 2009 21:26 darktreb wrote:At the very minimum, he didn't have to make it TRIVIAL for Jangbi's Probes to get such good position. I dunno WTH you talking about, he had like zero choice there. It was jangbi's call when and how to pull his probes, and he did it beautifully by drawing bisu in and cutting in between him.

Well yeah, because when people lose to the likes of Jangbi they must be really bad. Even the best players drop a game eventually, especially if it's a bo1.Bisu has been losing a game here and there lately but he's arguably one of the best PvP-ers in the scene.

I'm in a LB slump. Edit: Hey, it turns out I voted Kal and Jangbi to win their matchs and then both to advance, guess my Liquibet was safe.
