WTH??? There is no "counter 4 gate"... If you fast expand you're at a disadvantage for a little while. If the probes are blocking you then you pick off those probes...duh.

timing window - from the time jangbi put up his expansion to putting down his extra gateways. it was around two-three minutes.
he was aware that there were probes at the expansion. you would have been a complete idiot to NOT expect probes to be pulled to help defend.
there was no way he was going to take out the expansion the way he reacted.

you never heard of defender's advantage? how you gonna 4gate on a huge map like that? even running across puts you at pretty much even, bisu had soemthing like 1 goon advantage when he went in with the rest running the map still

From an economic perspective, Jangbi and Bisu had approximately equal probe counts at first, amiright? Maybe Jangbi with a few less b/c he had to cut probes a little early in order to build those gateways. If Jangbi's using those probes to block and constantly losing them to dragoon fire, he won't be able to replenish his forces from his 4 gateways, while Bisu is just pumping off of his own 4 gateways. That's tough to come back from.

Jangbi had way more probes than Bisu by the time the attack came. Bisu cut probes hard to get 4 gates running off 1 base.

You pick off probes without losing goons by microing your goons the way even an amateur knows how.

Bisu just barged in there chasing after Jangbi's goons, completely ignoring the mass of probes that were attacking him. Jangbi really didn't have that many goons, and he couldn't reinforce from all 4 gateways while using his probes to attack/defend.
