BaBy v. Canata: After two hours of grueling TvT action, Canata sends his battlecruiser force in for the final kill. Baby has an engineering bay, a command center, three SCVs, and a force of 5 wraiths. With expert micro, he kills off Canata's science vessels when they stray from the fleet. Canata desperately tries to find Baby's two floating buldings as the wraiths slowly but surely kill off the Battlecruisers. With half the BC armada dead, Baby is forced to withdraw and get more energy for his wraiths. In the meantime, Canata finds his CC and kills it. Increasingly desperate, Canata sends random units roaming around the map on the lookout for the renegade engineering bay. The wraiths kill them all, but the EB is found. As the BCs fly in, the now cloaked wraiths hopelessly pound away and the engineering bay makes a very slow escape. As Canata's last battlecruiser (half health) delivers the final blow, and as the engineering bay explodes into oblivion, the television spotter notices a blot in the far corner of the screen. The last battlecruiser dies, and the camera reveals Baby's just-finished supply depot. Baby sends his wraiths into Canata's undefended base, as the SK Terran has refused to acknowledge his loss and is busy floating his starports around the map. Baby falls asleep on his keyboard, having set one wraith on each starport. The referees search the building for Fantasy and Pure, and find that not only have both of them already played, but that FOX and SKT have also played their next matchup too (Fantasy wins), and that SKT has won 3-1 in that as well. After a discussion with all involved parties, KeSPA disqualifies Canata, and everybody agrees. | ||
