go.go advances to the 2009 Bacchus OSL Round of 16!

The first match of the night is pitting go.go against Juni. go.go has been seeing less and less playing time from Cool Hite SPARKYZ lately, surely concurrent with the emergence of Leta and their other rising players. Juni sees even less playing time from Samsung KHAN, being the 3rd string Zerg player. Most people would say go.go is the favorite in this match, being that he's been on the scene playing for a much longer time. I'm going to go with Juni though. In his offline preliminary group, Juni overcame a resurgent Much, who has been displaying signs of a possibly rejuvenated PvZ recently, and 815, who while not a star is a stronger ZvZ player than ZvP/ZvT. With that said, go.go is NOT a strong TvZ player, and I think he's going down.



Next match has the winner playing Luxury, and this one is a no-brainer. Luxury, the defending MSL champion, while slumping, is miles ahead of these two, and this series is just the thing he needs to jump start his game. If he's playing Juni, he has an easy rookie to beat around, and if he has go.go, he'll abuse the Terran's weak versus Zerg matchup to pave his road to the Round of 16.
