BackHo vs. GoRush is the premier matchup of the night, in my opinion. BackHo's PvZ is less-than-desirable but at the same time, GoRush is in ACE, which limits his practice time. While he has been showing success in the qualifiers and also the Proleague, it is still a concern I have. However, BackHo is recently returned from an extended absence due to his oh-so-doubly-ironic herniated disc injury. His PvZ as I said is questionable at best, and he had a 4 month absence.

Overall, I give the edge to GoRush because of maps. We've found Holy World to be a potential PvZ player's nightmare (GuemChi won on it against Thezerg, but ZerO showed us all the potential exploits last week), and Outsider is showing more and more that Protoss players are caught between a rock and a hard place. GoRush could and should open the night with an easy two game sweep of BackHo.



The second match of the night is going to be bad. Tester hasn't seen a game since last OSL where he somehow made the Round of 16, only to lose an embarrassing three times. Really, no matter who makes it out of the first game, Tester shouldn't win. However, I do see a wild card here. If Tester manages to win just one game on Holy World or Outsider (probably via cheese), he seems to have this magic on Return of the King in the Round of 36. However, I think GoRush crushes him quickly and secures his spot in the Round of 16, becoming the first player since the inception of Air Force ACE to advance past the first stage in the MSL or OSL.
