here's the thing though: metal is far and away the most varied genre of music. you could get away with saying all metal bands of a certain subgenre sound the same BUT

every kpop girl group is similar enough that i find it ridiculous that you can claim one of them is 'bad' while another is 'good'

dont make me bust out youtube links to make you cry about how little you know about metal man, there will be vast difference anyone can hear and if you link two different girl group kpop songs they will be alarmingly similar!!!!!!!!!!

Thing with Korean music is it wasn't supposed to be tailored to anyone else but Koreans in the first place. If you non-koreans hate it that's normal, oh well. The criticism of the quality of music thats put out by groups like Wonder Girls or SNSD for the vast majority of you all is the fact that you don't like the music. Yet when they go to like Thailand or even China people will actually go out and see them if et. all possible.

My reason for not listening to Korean POP songs at all. The only Korean songs I have are by Younha, as well as Wonder Girls' "Tell Me" and "Nobody", and KARA's "Honey".

That's like saying all american music sounds like Britney Spears or Backstreet Boys. You know there is actual music outside the commercial music channels catering to 12-18 year old girls... (or 16 year old wiggaz in MTV's case... )

What I am saying is that within the own categories, they all sound the same (like all pop songs sound the same, all ballads sound the same, etc), not all the categories sounding the same.
