ace is 7th out of 12 teams in round 4, above wemade, estro, oz, woongjin, and mbc

I do think Oz is slightly favored here, but if they win it will most likely be 3-2, maybe (small chance) 3-1. There's definitely significant potential for 3-1 ACE as well. Slightly favored is definitely an understatement and I have been watching ACE's recent games. I'm still rooting for ACE, though.

or they have casy have option who is like 8-1 against jaedong life stats. also he known for his incredible tvz neo emperor Chuck Norris can take JD in ZvZ XD oversky.... maybe Oversky is actually 1-2 against Jaedong, and both his losses were good games(which is odd, because Oversky's muta micro is awful).
That said, Jaedong should still win. I think this match is either ACE 3-1 or Oz 3-2 overall, though.

Oversky's best bet (as with all zergs) is go for a mass zergling strategy to try and finish Jaedong off before mutas come out.

That's like the only way to beat Jaedong, but no one really does that.

Yeah. Statistically speaking, Jaedong winning a ZvZ right now is more likely than any progamer winning any matchup ever. Theres a smaller chance of Jaedong losing to Oversky tonight than there was for sAviOr to lose against a P in his prime or iloveoov to lose to a Z in his prime. Thats fucking scary. Dont be ridiculous, go watch some of the previous JD vs OverSky games and talk about small chance again. Maybe JD is 80%+ in ZvZ but all previous encounters between him and oversky were so close. The Legend Killer must watch out. If I must pick a zerg to have a slight chance in taking down JD in Bo5 it will be OverSky. There is much to see behind his stats in this MU, especially when he plays against JD. OverSky just has the right mind set-up to take the mighty tyrant down A few months ago I would have agreed with you; Oversky has shown in the past that he can take down the Tyrant. However, taking into account his recent play and dismal results I doubt that he can even come close to beating Jaedong now. Oversky just hasn't been showing his trademark solid play which used to make him the backbone of any ACE victory.

ACE is looking stronger and stronger.
However if they are to have any chance of winning, they need to win three games BEFORE the ace match though. Sadly this is very unlikely, because that would involve winning every game that doesn't feature Jaedong.
Could Casy beat HiyA? Odds are pretty fair. Could GoRush beat Lomo? Odds are decent. Could Anytime beat BackHo? It's unlikely but it could happen.
Can OversKy beat Jaedong? No, it's impossible.
Can any starcraft player in existence beat Jaedong on Battle Royal at the moment? No, it's extremely unlikely. Oh, they're playing on destination. Scratch that.
So for ACE to win, they need to win the three non Jaedong matches, and the chance of them taking all three of those is very low.

The game's not for another day.
Also, I'd say that Casy and GoRush's game's are tossups, Jaedong has the upper hand against Oversky, and Anytime has the clear advantage over Backho. His PvP is still top-notch. Did you see his game against Sangho?
Even if the match goes to game 5, ACE can still use Casy, and still stand a good chance.
|
I shouldn't have said that about Anytime.
It's just that he hasn't showed good results lately so...
But yeah, I totally missed the history there.
I also missed his game against SangHo. Yeah, I'll be surprised if Anytime doesn't take the game.
EDIT: I'd also like to point out that I did see his game against tempest...
EDIT: WOAH, no Battle Royal!

Dude, if you call Jaedong's game a tossup, then every single game of the PL is a tossup.
EDIT: nm, I am too tired to read >-<

I wouldn't put too much stock into the Sangho game. It's PvP, Sangho expanded early, Anytime went for a hanbang. It's impressive, but people severely underestimate Backho's PvP. I think the answer is clear cut, Backho's PvP is better than Anytime's at the moment. Did you see Sangho vs Jaehoon? Same thing happened.

It was pretty sad. Even if I hate to say it.

Well, that's nice, considering Casy is playing TvT.
