yea a no name is really gonna a pass a group with Mind and Hoejja

even Ruby has a better chance than him

ggaemo isn't really a total no-name, he plays for OZ in Proleague somewhat regularly now that fOrGG was traded.

Besides, Mind has been taking choking to a whole new level lately: he lost to HyuN in the MSL prelims, and he has looked like a shadow of his former self the last 4 or so months in Proleague. HoeJJa is unproven in ZvZ; there's no reason ggaemo can't make it out of his group. Hell, it wouldn't even be his first time winning his prelim group if he did.

Hoejja has unproven ZvZ, what? he hasn't played that much ZvZ but nearly defeated jaedong in that PL playoff match

if ggaemo has the same impeccable defense under pressure as Jaedong, sure, he can beat Hoejja.

Hoejja's past ZvZs didn't matter, Hoejja improved significantly since his non-Jaedong loss

Is it really that shocking that I called a player that has no ZvZ wins on record unproven in the matchup? Seriously. I understand the kid has had a few good games, but you can't go out on a limb and say he has cemented himself as a solid ZvZ player when he doesn't even have a win to date in the matchup.

Hopefully this won't be like msl.

In a group with 2 zergs, 1 protoss, and 1 terran, 2 protosses will make it through.

What's up with some people having to face an additional opponent?

Kwanro vs Isac[KaL]/Dream.t)Sungsun
ZerO vs Britney[gm]/Neo.G_Minam
Really vs By.Someday/Thunder[fOu]

That's what this means right?

(Z)hyvaa vs (T)IdrA/Smile[WHITE]
(P)Trap vs (T)MVP
(T)BoxeR vs (P)herb
(P)ASuka-Jr vs (Z)Saint

Like Idra has to face Smile then Hyvaa
then winner of Trap vs Mvp
then winner of the (T)BoxeR vs (P)herb vs the winner of
(P)ASuka-Jr vs (Z)Saint in the final match to advance.

no, they play like this:
1. (Z)hyvaa vs (T)IdrA/Smile[WHITE] (means if IdrA beats Smile he has to play hyvaa)
2. (P)Trap vs (T)MVP
3. (T)BoxeR vs (P)herb
4. (P)ASuka-Jr vs (Z)Saint

then the winners of 1. and 2. play and the winners of 3. and 4.. After that the winners of these games play each other and the one who wins passes preliminaries. Example:

IdrA > Smile[WHITE]

hyvaa > IdrA
Trap < MVP hyvaa > MVP Boxer > hyvaa --> Boxer enters ODT (OGN Dual Tour)
Boxer > Herb Boxer > Saint
ASuka-jR < Saint

You pretty much reiterated what blackmagister said, except in a much more confusing way. btw there's no ODT anymore, winners of their prelim group go straight into the OSL Ro36.

Idra vs Boxer live would be so badass.

Just imagine Idra calling LYH "fuckin skillless newbie" on air ...

We should probably stop using three-letter acronyms for people's names when there are multiple people with the same acronym...
I read that as Flash for the longest time. It's actually kinda disappointing that I don't associate LYH with Boxer.

I would love to see some good old Idra BM during any of his games. Especially if he get's cheesed and he starts shit talking. That would be more epic than like Savior vs FBH or Bisu in a MSL finals.

Cmon Idra~!
