July went 5 pool, 5 pool made spear get cannons faster than normal which stopped probe production. July snuck 3 zerglings in, made spear make another cannon on top of killing a few probes. July delayed the expansion, killed workers made Spear make another cannon while powering drones and get 2 expansions before Spear started his. July had a huge lead the moment spear started the cannon in his mineral line.

Oh and Spear pulled 5 probes to defend the 5 pool and started a gateway then canceled it (lost a little bit of minerals there and had to stop probe production to get the 150 minerals). July delayed tech by delaying the assimilator.

Look, I understand the concept you are trying to grace me with, but he listed 3 probes as some magical number that made it okay so I began to question his logic because of the absolute mineral cost.

Once you get 3 of the protoss probes with a 5 pool the players are on equal fields since that's 3 probes worth of economy lost and mining time vs the 3 drones that were not made for the 3 zerglings.

There was nothing to focus on. July comes in to drop, Spear doesn't scout in time, drop > expansion. That was it.
