Happy birthday,IntotheWow. Hey,I thought there will be more hype. Okay,yesterday's match was really much more interesting,but this is a great tournament too with great matches. I really hope ForGG pulls his shit back together and eliminate Stork,which is unlikely though,unless Stork decides he only wants to play in one tournament and loses on purpose,so he cn concentrate on the PL and the OSL finals. Go Jangbi,go Nada,go Tempest,go ForGG.

Ok correction, Jangbi just started his goon range upgrade. 2 SCVs on gas for Memory so probably he is going for a siege expand here. Jangbi looks to be aggressive with goon / zeal.
Memory with a CC far inside his main base. So he might be going for a massive SCV pump.

Scouting SCV sees 3 gate goon, without further tech yet. That is slightly unusual considering jangbi heavily favours reaverplay.
Memory landing his CC and maynarding scvs there. Jangbi expanding once more to the 7 position.

Pylon wall begun at 7 position and a robotics bay at the main base for Jangbi. Memory adding an armory and an academy for those early upgrades and DT paranoia. Jangbi finishes warping his Nexus at 7, so he is on 3 base by now.

Memory is playing this very defensively, he is adding scanners and a 2nd fac with addon. Some supply depots narrow the pathing on his natural, to prevent any breakthroughs. Jangbi has his 3rd running and an observatory.

Vultures found the base at 7, but they cannot get through the pylonwall. Goons eliminate them from this game. Jangbi has maybe 1 1/2 groups of goons, while Memory appears to be going for 6 fac by now - he will probably just stay 2 base and mass from here, hoping to overcome Jangbi with one massive ball.
Jangbi adding some more gates.

Memory moving out tanks and building a turret next to them, maybe he WILL be securing a third before he starts macroing. Jangbi is sending his goons into place to flanks this tankforce.

Both are encircling each other. Jangbi has a shuttle now. He is expanding once more, to the base between his main and 7. Memory getting his 3rd base at 4, below his natural. He has 0-1 upgrades now and moves out with some metal. Jangbi comes in with some goon zeal before memory can siege. Some losses on both sides, but Jangbi retreats for now.

"Only" 7 gates for Jangbi and Memory is pushing him back across the map. He is getting a starport now. Jangbi still with pure goon zeal. Memory crossing the lower bridge towards Jangbi's expansions.

Memory retreats for now, not daring to cross the bridge. Jangbi adding gates and macroing up many zealots, indicating spirit style and maybe saving gas for late game arbiters.

Memory's 3rd is online, he is in a very strong and secure position right now. Jangbi needs to get his techswitch going soon, else the metal will eat him alive. SOme goons clearing mines towards the 4 base, but there are 3 tanks behind depots positioned there.

This sort of reminds me of Ruby vs. Tempest in Survivor, only that Tempest had a more aggressive attack timing. Jangbi has Archives set up and is attacking 4 now. The semi wall prevents many of his troups from entering, but memory had to pull his tanks down. Bad siege placements makes him lose tons of tanks to splash!

Good attack by Jangbi - Memory mostly hurt himself with tank splash, killing some SCVs and some tanks. Jangbi getting Stargates without proper purpose yet.

Jangbi expanding at 6, Memory taking his 4th base too (the base behind his 4oclock)
DUal dropship heading for Jangbi's 7 base, where 4 cannons are spread out for defense. Memory does not find a hole and retreats them for now. They find the newly building expansion at 6 though, but do not drop. Yet another dropship heading for Jangbi's natural and mainbase, going in right now!

Four vultures dropped at jangbi's main, laiyng mines around the gateways. They also MUST have seen the spinning cycore, indicating air attack.
Jangbi attacking four again! zealot bombs onto the tanks and brilliant storms on the clumped metal. Vultures in Jangbis main have found the stargates and are still alive.
Additional drop at 6 takes out the newly built nexus. Jangbi's goons are still ravaging 4, took down the CC:

Actually the 6 nexus is still alive, and Jangbi is trying to break through the minefield to salvage it. Sneaky DT takes down both tanks and some vultures, as Memory does not scan. 3 gate carrier rolling now. Memory has a scifac but not more.

Push by Memory at Jangbi's front door, lots of vultures and some tanks. Tanks are sieging up, Jangbi has a bunch of goons and his first 3 carriers. Memory runs his tanks. Some gols are coming from behind to help.

Memory chose to run for now and sieges up at one of the low plateaus in the middle of the map. He is pumping Goliaths like a madman now, and still has 4 bases as he rebuilt the 4 oclock one.

Lots of things happening at once, carriers are harassing Memorys main base, at 6 there is a drop challenging the xpansion again, one expansion by Memory got overrun by zealots. Carriers in Memorys main are unopposed as of now, Jangbi saves his base at 6 with some goons.

Goons clean out some Goliaths in the middle of the map. It looks like Jangbi is simply overtasking Memory here, with units all over the place. Carriers are roaming the map at leisure.

Jangbi can be so amazing. At the beginning Memory was really stable, then he exploited the placement at the 4 base and ran over him with amazing multitask.

Nada's opening allows him to build an extremely fast factory near the middle of the map. His vultures will arrive at the same time as the first rines for Frozean. He cut quite a few probes though.

Game 2 of Tempest vs. FBH on Athena II - lets see how this one plays out compared to Memory vs. Jangbi. Both with standard play, Tempest is red at 6, FBH is purple (what else) at 2.

Scouting SCV finds the robotics for Tempest, so FBH knows what he is in for. He has two tanks so far and is getting an armory now. Observatory first for Tempest, so he is shuttle - obs - reaver. Tempest expanding to his natural and retreating his goons. FBH already lands his expansion CC:

Tempest is not far behind with his expansion and he looks to take a 3rd too, at the 7 position. AN observer is carefully scanning FBH's base, sees a dualfac with a spinning machine shop, academy, armory.

FBH came out on top and took out tempests small lower-high-ground expo at 8. Following up with his main expo and the other one at 8.
Tempest tries to break FBH's main, but FBH EMP's the arbiter while having some 12 zeals right under it.

As a FBH fan, I'm always eager to look at each of his games just to see if his newfound TvP is for real. But seriously, he timed a perfect rush to counter Much's 14 Nexus, took a major advantage due to his BO against Bisu, and then played against Tempest who looks absolutely HORRIBLE in both games.
I mean, FBH is 4-0 in the MSL vs. Protoss, and I'm still unsure of his TvP.

The ???? was basically Stork trying to put in all the way when he should've pulled back. And lost A LOT OF dragoons doing so.
Of course, had he sniped that CC, it wouldn't have mattered. But he didn't, and had no units to push back ForGG's counter.

I have a question: Why does every player on Medusa wait for his rax/gateway to finish before scouting his cliff? It would cost the mining time of around 20 seconds to avoid ANY sort of cheese involving the cliff. Why does no one scout that earlier?

Stork dropping again, this time dual goon. The mighty tank is gfinally being taken out here at the min only. ForGG runs his SCVS as finally a Reaver is dropped. SIeges tanks and takes out two goons at his min only. Shuttle still hovering. Wraith kills shuttle, reaver is screwed!

My god, this game is going to my heart, it's racing. Stork finishes his expansion at bottom right. HTs are added to his army, dual forges spinning at his natural. ForGGs scouting SCVS are intercepted by some goons. 8 factories pumping for fOrGG now. Stork cleaning the temple leading to gg's cliff. ARbiter tribunal done for the protoss now.

Stok really caught him in movement, with his pants half down. Massive minedrag kills 6-7 vultures now. Stork moving in again this time with Arbiter support. Lots of stuff blows up. No vessels yet. First stasis on some tanks, but rather ineffectual. ForGG pumping vultures now to aid with the defense. APparently no obs nearby for Stork?

Massive blob again for fOrGG, Stork mainly with goon / zeal, I have hardly seen any templars so far. Science vessel is there too, unless it gets frozen again. Battle erupts, massive onslaught onto the terran blob, it looks like Stork will pull through? hard to see, few forces left on both sides.
