This thread is an excellent example of why people are unwilling to listen objectively to formulate opinions, and change them as necessary based on new evidence.

People show it off in your face when you're wrong.

Now keep in mind, I didn't really care who won this series, but I'm just saying, things like "HAHA ALL YOU IDIOTS SHUT THE FUCK UP, JULY CAN MACRO" make it so that people can't change opinions without being ridiculed. It would've been the same if Best had won 3:2 in macro games and people said "HAHA I TOLD YOU JULY CAN'T MACRO, IDIOTS" or something like that.

When you're surrounded by comments like that, it's impossible to say "Well that was unexpected, guess things didn't turn out like I thought" without being crucified.

Just my observation :S

It's not being a Best fanboy to state he had the harder path and played better up until the finals of this OSL. There's nothing Fanboy about that at all and truth be told, it is true. Having a harder path and stating that doesn't change that ultimately, July was the one who lifted his game enough to win, he absolutely deserved this win, and I'm happy for the Tushin <3 (every bit as sad I am for Best because he did not lift his game in turn and make a really fantastic finals out of this).

However Disciple, you do come off as a Best fanboy looking for solace.

I dont have a problem with July being a champ ! I'm so happy for him, but I cant agree with the statement that his ZvP is kick as, that he is at the top of the scene atm- first game 5 pool, yes best contributed to the victory with his proxy gates, second game, all-in rush (july had 5 drones mining) last game was nice, he showed awesome skills, but best was broken, he lost the first two games because of 50% july's skills , 50% bad luck

I would say normally you are right... but it was just retarded to say July can't macro just bcuz he played a so nicely early game in the first 2 games.

I mean come on, BeSt got a PvZ semis and finals (his worst mu) vs July who got a ZvP semis and finals (his strongest mu).

I'm not saying July doesn't deserve it or anything, he definitely does. But people calling best "stork" or saying he won't win anything are fucking retarded.

BeSt got a hardest run for sure. I'm not trying to discredit July's wins, but rather showing that with opponents like NaDa, Much, JangBi, lux in front of him BeSt got to the finals.
