he didnt have enough gas at ALL, he needed scourge and more ultras to deal with Sea's massive amount of MM and vessel. He didn't have three gas running for more than a minute or two, because when that third finally happened his main would have been nearly depleted. Luxury lost that game because he couldn't kill Sea with his ultraling. Its a VERY good build, but you need gas, and Sea shut all of his shit down. | ||

You have to get the mound, consume, plague, and as many defilers as it takes while the terran irradiates everything in sight. He couldn't skimp on ultras or he'd be totally fucked, and that means he'd have to skimp on scourge, which means he'd lose anyway. | ||

If defiler mound and consume would cost the same as one. Plague wouldn't be needed. A defiler would cost the same as another. More ultras might be better in the time after an ultra cavern finishes because about 7 ultras are better than 4 ultras and 2 defilers when the armies are small, and the extra force early on might briefly give you stronger map control long enough to enable taking another expo, for example. But when the armies are so big defilers are a must. | ||
