Shinhan Bank Proleague 2008 Round 2 Playoffs @ OGN (MBC Simulcast) 14:00 KST![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/teams/4.jpg) vs ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/teams/9.jpg) MBCGame Hero vs CJ Entus
There are no two deeper teams in Proleague than MBC and CJ. Both teams boast intimidating lineups, and because of this, neither team will be hindered by maps tonight. There will be 4-7 hotly contested high level sets tonight between some of the best players in the scene today.

The Man Behind Hero - Coach Ha
MBC have made the playoffs for the last 4 rounds of proleague and won team of the year for 2006. But the real star in the team is not Sea, nor Bisu it is the man in the photo above, Coach Ha. Coach Ha won coach of the year in 2006 and for a very good reason - he knows how to train players. Each player in MBC has a unique MBC style attached to him as a result of this man. When you look at the lineup of players, (July), Sea, Light, Bisu, Pusan, Shark, Hyun they all prefer creative agressive build orders which take the game to the opponent. No surprise, this is the MBC way. In addition to this, he knows how to raise young talent - just look at sea and bisu. The influence of this man, along with Coach Park, cannot be denied and is the largest reason why this team is so great.
Tonight, Ha has sent forth a roster in the strategy he used throughout the majority of Round 2 2007. Ha knows that his team is the deepest in the whole league, and uses that to his advantage. This time around there are no snipers like Shark ready to take out a big name, but pure dominant muscle. The lineup in this bo7 is fearsome featuring the best 1v1 players and 2v2 teams MBC can foster. There will be no punches pulled tonight;
Set 1 - Monty Hall - Sea Set 2 - Baekmagoji - Pusan Set 3 - Hwangsanbul - Saint/ Light Set 4 - Katrina - Bisu Set 5 - Blue Storm - HyuN Set 6 - Seongangil - 910/ Thezerg
CJ Entus ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/teams/9.jpg)
The Man Behind CJ - Coach Cho
GO never had an easy life as a team. Constantly in financial trouble due to a lack of sponsorship, Coach Cho (along with Xellos) put his entire life into the team and supported it financially and did everything possible for his team. Just before Coach Cho gave out, the team was rescue by the corporate giant CJ. In one of the biggest sponsorship deals ever, CJ Entus was born. This event is so true of Coach Cho, he is a man who cares more about his players than any other coach out there, to that extent CJ is a tight family. Coach Cho knows how to bring out the best in his players too, just look at savior last week - he needed that win at in the Ace match. With Coach Cho, also comes a CJ style. CJ tend to prefer solid builds and outplay their opponent via their superior skills as opposed to a cheesy build. When you look at Xellos, Savior, Much and Iris it is only so true. (Kwanro is an exception). CJ just managed to edge out OGN last week and are eager to make it more convincing this time around. Coach Cho's family are here to fight for their honor, for their team which has fought so hard just to be here today.
Coach Cho has used an interesting roster strategy this time round with many surprises in the lineup - likely to be snipers. This is rather peculiar for CJ, as this kind of thing rarely happens for them, as they prefer to beatdown their opponents with their superior game. Despite this, Coach Cho is one of the best coaches out there - there will be a very good reason for each of these picks tonight. This only adds spice to the series as we will be expecting a lot of surprises tonight. CJ is here to win, and Cho's strategy reflects that;
Set 1 - Monty Hall - DarkElf Set 2 - Baekmagoji - Kwanro Set 3 - Hwangsanbul - sAviOr/ Nbs[gm] Set 4 - Katrina - Iris Set 5 - Blue Storm - Much Set 6 - Seongangil - Jy/ Memory

Summary
Arguably, the two best coaches in progaming today face off head to head tonight. Two teams with such large prestige fight for their honor in what many are calling the real finals of Proleague; and who can blame them. This is a clash of the titans. With a declining performance of CJ in the individual leagues and many of MBC's players out of the leagues atm both teams appear to be taking this very seriously. Indeed, the CJ/MBC rivalry follows on from SKT/KTF in 2005. Each team has its own very unique style which it will bring tonight, throw in some interesting matchups and you've got yourself one hell of a series.

GO, you have had huge limitations before and had hard times getting the team running. But you still fought despite all obsiticals and were able to finally catch the eyes of CJ cooperation. Now, the test is here. Prove to everyone that your team is the most hard working and powerful. What you have been through was the a tough test, now comes another one just right ahead. For all the fans cheering, for all the toughs you have been through, for all tears and sweat you have shed. Win this, and continue your path to glory.

If that CJ Entus guy that speaks English very well is the same person that is the genius behind the success of CJ Entus and the large number of talented people they produce then Blizzard needs to hire that guy for SC2!

I think CJ is in for a rough ride here. That being said, CJ winning couldn't possibly be called an upset either. At this level of play anything is possible. I'm mostly looking forward to Bisu vs Iris because I'm sure Iris knows better than to just let Bisu have the game the same way Xellos did.
EDIT: btw, MBC coach is possibly the creepiest looking guy in progaming. The only one who can best him is that OGN assistant coach who smiles literally all the time.

GO MBC! Heart says 4-0. The spectator in me says MBC in 7 games <3

Why would you send a Terran out on Katrina? Iris better have some special build prepared for Bisu's inevitable 2 base carrier/arbiter...
|
savior in 2v2 only? wtf...
|
I want to see iris rape everyone again. so he should kill bisu.

Sorry but this is pretty much BS It applies only to July really, and he hasn't even been on the team that long. He's ALWAYS been that way and it has nothing to do with the MBC coach. It's especially untrue for Sea. His builds tend to be standard and defensive/macro based. He relies on his excellent multitask and macro skills to wear down his opponent during the midgame. Then he just runs you over. Sure there are a couple of examples where this isn't the case but those games are the minority.
Most of the players you listed vary a lot depending on the match up, the map, and who they're playing against (ie what their opponent is doing, and what their opponent tends to do) just like most progamers. I appreciate you trying to put a spin on the op but don't make shit up in order to do it

CJ is successful and produces a large number of talented players. If the guy that speaks English well is also responsible for their success and their good players, then Blizzard should hire the guy that speaks English well.

Its not that suprising, saviors 1:1 results have been less than stellar recently. Better to have him focus on one map.
If CJ had another solid protoss besides much to send they might send one(to counter the more likely choice of Sea, rather than Bisu) but since they don't, you have to expect savior.

Go CJ! Iris and Elfie have a decent shot but it will be tough. Much should win. I have very little confidence in Kwanro unfortunately and 2v2s are up in the air. In ace game, Much would be the player with best chance vs Bisu or Sea. But he isnt that proven in the big games and maybe nerves > skill in that situation.
