Obviously, there has to be reasons for this.

I'm a fan of Mind. I love overachievers, especially when they overcome huge odds. I'm happy he made it through.

Didn't see the matches....
But they were all comebacks? No straightforward wins?

Beating Savior no longer proves nearly as much as it used to. FBH, too, beat Savior in a BO5, and that was back when Savior was in a better form than he is now. Savior's arrogant attitude against unproven players (and sometimes even plain bad ones like PJ) has been hindering him more and more in recent history. Jaedong won't make that mistake when he meets Mind, and when they do, that will be when this, um, unfortunate-looking man's TvZ will finally be really tested.

I liked what I saw of Hogil today, but he's no Jaedong yet. Hopefully he can improve his play to his full potential. Also props to Zero for the innovative build, it would be great to see more of him in PL.

calling PJ a plain bad player is fuking stupid.

You can't seriously be trying to tell me PJ isn't plain bad by Korean pro standards, which is obviously what I'm judging him by because Savior, too, was judging him by none other than these Korean pro standards by the time of their match. Evaluated with other (non-Korean) standards, PJ is naturally excellent, but compared to the likes of Savior, it's crash and burn - which makes him plain bad when pitted against any of the top Korean players, and plain bad in the viewpoint of any given top 30 Korean pro. Seriously, you can't even argue against this.

Obviously, there has to be reasons for this.

Yes and the reason is: Hes a completely unknown player who beat 3 other HUGE STARS in order to win a starleague right off the bat. On top of that, he did it with flawless standard play. Which doesn't add to excitement. Oh and the third reason.. a lot of people are faggits and care more about hair/fashion than brood war skills.

However, if mind wins another starleague you can gurantee his fanbase will grow by leaps and bounds.

Mind is playing with your minds. In a game vs. Oov, Mind just outlasted Oov. Oov gg'ed prematurely. And I thought Mind hiding the Starport and making enough wraiths, not overcommitting to an air force to counter Bisu's carriers, was brilliant. Even the hidden Academy in his only loss to Bisu was art. If he waited five seconds longer before moving out with his mmf force, he would have won that one. I also think Mind learned from Bisu's FPOVs, seeing when Bisu goes to his base to macro--which is sometimes after commanding goons and zeals to attack. So, when Mind built those depots to hinder paths to his tanks and vultures, that was just cerebral.

Though I love Bisu for being the only Protoss to win big relatively consistently, I applaud Inter.Mind for his fantastic play.

The game where Oov gg'ed prematurely: I think you are talking about the first game in their bo3 on loki II? In that game the entire map was taken/ split in half and both player had turreted up extensively. Mind won by using an engineering bay to draw fire from ~10 turrets in order to drop at the critical expansion at 10 o'clock. The tanks and goliath dropped there stayed there until the end of the game, denying the minerals from Oov's last base. Another example of excellent play from Mind.

I really hated mind when he beated savior cause i thought he was like silver and was gonna be raped like 3-0 vs bisu. And oov was actually in the best shape but than i saw his games. He has nice multitasking but hes a really smart player and hes good not lucky. He does look sort of uncharasmatic though compared to like bisu but hell get there. Look at nada hehe
