Paralyze once gain did not deliver on stage. He played bad and it's his own fault. Bisu was not supposed to loose to a lackey like Shuttle. Shuttle was supposed to loose to everyone except perhaps Ggaemo/Shinee. His advancement instead of Bisu was a DISASTER for ASL balance and viewership in general. Mini is an ABSOLUTE IDIOT who goes Nexus first 2 TIMES in a row in the best of 1 series (totally his own fault). Best did "fine", simply lost to players who were better prepared. Rush practiced more and deserved the win. Soma is a better ZvP player than Best is PvZ (this that general case of zerg > protoss). Bad maps for Best? I do not think so. Snow played the best he could in game 1 vs. Shine, so it was actually a loss due to shitty imbalanced map, but the rest 3 loses were his own fault due to bad build choices or bad execution and micro. There you have it.

There you have it. Octagon is imbalanced ? shit has almost 50% lolWe are truly now living in an era where we call SNow played perfect for making 10 canons and clicking his nexus to make workers. Thats how low the bar for protoss has gotten these days. There was this guy saying. Snow cant bring his whole army to deny the 4 expo from zerg. Well but if he actually sent 5-6 zealots instead of 3 zealots. Even more shocking is that Snow took his DT from the top right position that could have potentially delay the 4 expo from zerg and sent it to the zerg front base to scout the mineral only. In fact if the DT and the 3 zealots attacked together that hatchery would have been cancelled. If snow didnt loss a corsair for free at the start he could have put more pressure into overlords. If snow hide a zealot to sent it around the map and deny the mining from the zerg third expo while SHine was attacking with hydras it would have been great. Is actually fascinating how few individuals call Snow perfect play lol. I cant even judge Shine play simple cuz he wasnt tested at all the whole game till the 16:00 minute mark. Do you know how insane that is ? And btw im not just making those ideas myself. That is the typical stuff he does on proleagues or spons vs SK or SOma. I hear the frustration of SK or SOma when Snow bring those plays. that game on octagon Snow just played the most basic you can see a protoss play.

There you have it. The mental gymnastics and double standard to blame Protoss players. Paralyze was never a Ro16 player. What do you mean "once again"? As if he was a top tier Protoss player who choked this time. This is literally his second ASL. Dude just came back playing SC1 for like 3 years. Scan has more ASL appearances than him, do you blame Scan for not delivering on stage? Bisu lost a mirror Bo1 in the same season where ggaemo 1-0'd both Larva and Hero. Yeah that's mirror matchup for you. Stuff like that is always bound to happen every season. Octagon is a 38% map for PvT. Maybe that plays a role in Bisu and Best losing to Rush. Just maybe. Snow, Best, Mini played a lot of Nexus first on Colorless Fate and Backrooms (and died), maybe because those maps are ~ 40% win rate for PvZ. Just maybe. Remember when all Terrans just cheesed on 76 and Zergs just cheesed on Jane Doe? That's what players do when they are forced to play on shit maps for their matchup. Except that Protoss has no cheese against Zerg, so they have to get a Nexus first off to maybe have a 50/50 game. The Protoss race would LOVE not having to take risks to get an advantage. Unfortunate for them, that's the only way they get one in these meta on those maps. Look at Snow vs Shine on Octagon ffs, yes that's playing safe for you. One or two overbuilt cannons to prevent you from DYING, and you can never recover from it despite hitting every storm spot on.

I hear the frustration of SK or SOma when Snow bring those plays. that game on octagon Snow just played the most basic you can see a protoss play. Speaking like a true captain hindsight. Tell you what, in every fucking game you can watch the replay and ask these questions. Why doesn't this player have this unit at that place in the exact x minute, is he stupid lmao? Why doesn't he turn on map hack to know exactly what he has to build to perfectly counter his opponent? Maybe you're the one who actually has to try to play or watch a replay from the Protoss point of view (just turn off the vision of the Z) to understand how hard it is to make the decisions in PvZ. Ok let me explain to you, for example, how stupid your idea of "keeping the DT at the 4th base" is. As a good player, your units should be constantly on the move looking for opportunities. How do you know the Zerg is not gonna send an overlord and a bunch of mutas/hydras there? How do you know the Zerg is not expanding elsewhere? The DT is not gonna sit there to pray a lone drone will show up. On another day 1 DT and 3 Zealots may just die for nothing and you're gonna blame the player again. There're too many random variables in BW in general and this matchup in particular yeah maybe you don't understand it because you play Zerg and you're super biased.
