That’s why BW is awesome, Soma probably prepared this extensively to use it against Flash. Vs other players he would have killed them outright but Flash somehow got his first marine in the bunker | ||

Because it was cross map, Terran did not see the pull or drones, so in my game, terrans pull came after mine arrived, it was 6 drones vs 3 scv (1from rax making, 1 chasing scv and 1 from building cc) I used the mineral on the ramp on poly to boost and line up in front of barracks and lings arrived to stop bunker. I did not even engage his scv, just made sure marine couldn't get to bunker. Since this was my first time deploying it, I don't have everything mapped out. My nightmare is what if terran can make a wall and I can't mineral boost through. Then you just suicide-ed awkwardly. | ||

This is down to Flash’s stubbornness going for cc first on Match Point’s top spawn where marine spawn is facing downwards and there’s alot of surface area for drones. Don’t think this works well for vertical wall-ins | ||

the one game where flash went +1 4 rax bio and crushed soma with a crisp pre-swarm timing is what i feel we would've seen more of, had has hands been in better shape. zergs these days have honed their muta micro and sunken defense timing with the innovations from soulkey/queen/soma to an absurdly high level, but flash (also light) showed that standard bio still works if your macro and control is absolutely cracked i just wish he would learn better ergonomics, because his posture looks terrible for your wrists with the monitor to the side, keyboard tilted in an awkward angle, elbows far too low below the table... maybe he should also take a page off Light's book and crank up the DPI to minimize the degree to which you need to flick your wrist... would take him several months, maybe an entire season to adjust, but it would give his career more longevity | ||
