Especially after losing Korean Air the same way, I had hoped he would have learned. It's all good. GGs Flash is his own worst enemy. He thinks up a build and just tries to brute force it because against 95% of opponents he will win anyway just because he's Flash.

An amateur won 2 ASLs. I remember when ASL started how hard was to even get 1 amateur to qualify lol. So sick to see actually new blood dominating the scene.
Effort Queen and Soma ASL legacy will always be a bit more strong than Soulkey ASL run since he never played him on his 4 peat.

Imo you can't argue that closing the natural and calmy clearing the main wouldn't have been the better play here. No matter what Soma had in his main and even if he was in a better position theoretically. In any case it wouldn't have been over right there like now just because another handful of lings came through.
A shame that Flash had to bow out with this call.

Lol the amount of people believing they first of all know better than Flash, and secondly thinks he can win the game after a failed 14cc - without a main base and only 1 rax without gas vs a 12p gas opening.
Flash was betting on Soma going Hatchery first after drone scouting nat - as if Flash instantly throws down the rax when scouted he's probably fine (and drones wouldnt be pulled etc). But Soma instantly went pool + gas and Flash delayed his rax by 10-15 sec by going cc first, triggering the drone pull, and then ends up with 10 lings + 2 drones ~in his main base because Flash's wall was shit due to drone block.
If that was a 4 pool, sure, Flash might win that game. But Soma already had 12 SPEED lings and a 2nd hatchery on the way and 200~ gas in the bank.
Regardless, awesome to see Flash play in ASL again - even though he wasn't interested in playing any longer macro games.
