I noticed that for the final battle, SoulKey kept his scourge quite spread out, while Effort did not. Wonder what to make of that.

Both the game vs Barracks as g1 vs Effort lost to scouting.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Not to meme but I'm not sure Soulkey cared about winning another season. Similar vibe to Maru in SC2, winning all those GSLs. Maru was injured eventually but still, I think there's an attraction to cigar-popping your own hype balloon. Eventually you phone it in a little and maybe subconsciously kinda throw so you can go do something else.

Frankly, I did not expect SK winning vs EffOrt, his real problem was losing to Barracks.

Not a secret . And he was also unhappy with the mappool for this ASL.

That said i have seen SK doing this no try hard for the last ASLs and winning all of them.

But i always said that all you needed to make it harder to SK was to bring zergs lol. Funny enough zerg vs zerg is what denied SK and Larva reaching the ASL final for a long time.
