This is no surprise to anyone who follows Proleague. Only Mini and Snow are equal in PvP. The rest can take the odd games off them sometimes because it's PvP, but generally just get outplayed in every aspect and would have no chance in a Bo5 series.

TMNT , I wonder if you know... if Rain would be serious and train, he would still be favorite in a match vs Snow and Mini ?
His PvP was insane if you remember...

Whats the point of this comment? If Bisu was in his Kespa shape, he would've probably won half of the ASLs. And?

While it's true that Rain was playing too much LOL just before this ASL, the thing about him not being serious and not training was blown out of proportion a bit, almost giving him a pre excuse for losing at ASL.

Rain was quite active in 2023, playing in a lot of Proleagues (mostly K League) but he didn't really show amazing PvP games like he did before (about 60% win rate vs Stork and Shuttle in 2023 - even Bisu can do better than that). And his peak was in 2018-2019 which is really a long time ago. A lot of things have changed since. So I don't know about 2019 Rain vs 2024 Snow, but 2023 Rain was Rain in pretty good shape, and he was still not as good as Snow and Mini.

G1 feels like a throw by Bisu moreso than a win for snow (despite the cute micro to get around the dragoon prison), why not go kill all the probes as bisu? If someone has an explanation I d be happy to hear it. Feels like a bo win that Bisu blew hard

Double proxy gate is not a BO win at their level. There's still a lot to do, although the defending player surely has a harder time. When the 1st goon was trapped, Snow pulled so many probes to fight that he had less probes mining, so Bisu was indeed trying to kill probes, it just didn't happen in the mineral line. Snow just micro'd better there.

G3 really exemplified the term "mirror matchup" for the buildup-phase, but then one guy just edged ahead move after move with patience and calculation while the other seemed to desperately go for all the obvious moves that backfire moments later.
Also there was a clear difference in shuttle-reaver-control, the winner looking much fresher with so many last split-second scarabs into perfectly timed pick-ups.

Finally I have the chance to tune in live, I do even though it's PvP, given the big matchup, and then it's already almost over
