I'd expect one (if not both) of Rush and Light will make it. But that might be it for the terrans. Wouldn't be shocked if Sharp and Mind don't make it either. Action and Snow are prob the two best terran killers of their respective races.

But I am going to make a ballsy prediction and say only one of them two will make it through. Anything can Happen in D but SnOw seems certain. Would not be surprised if Sharp makes it through. he's legitimately playing rock solid right now.

Knowing Sharp weak nerves and how he always crashing to close winning positions i dont think he will go far. I will never forget how he made Shuttle an ASL champion LOL .

To verify, a quick check on his win rates in all games since last November shows: 60% vs Bisu, 69% vs Hero, 54% vs Rush, 53% vs Mini, 67% vs Mind, 80% vs JYJ, 45% vs Action, 71% vs Royal and 31% vs Snow. Pretty sick, although unfortunate for him that he's in the same group with Snow and Action.

Man what a day by Mini. Looked scary. Honestly wouldn't want to mess with Mini or Snow this tournament. Hope they get some good terrans to torment each round.

Mini rly keeping us on our toes LOL. I think everyone knew Hero was gonna make it out, but sometimes Mini can tilt himself off the face of the earth. Utterly destroyed in the second half of the group, that's the aggressive domination I love to see out of Mini.

Why was RoyaL trying to beat Hero with that somehow risky middle map rack strategy (unlike usual placement on natural), I found him in recent year to be quite all round consistent terran vs zerg relying on mostly standard games. He was being recently beated by Hero (who is to be honest in great shape from what I seen recently) a lot, so he decided to go risky and agressive in bo1 scenario?

edit: waaay back in 2010 flash did a 5rax vs jaedong in OSL final to catch scouting overlord vs a 12hatch: he also did it vs jaedong on heartbreak ridge:

Can't be sure but Royal is 3-7 against Hero in their last 10 games so that might play a part.

The kind of 'in your face' play that screams "you know what I'm about to do but I'm just gonna kill you because my hands work faster". That said, he already won this season for me because of that insane first game. Truly knife vs gun stuff. based mini ![]() also as far as least likeable, that can't be mini. unless you don't find micro one-of-a-kind acrobatics, unique builds and daring, dare i say, perverted? maneuvers, attacks and harass unlikable??? clearly, herO is the least likeable player. he is starting to show a new side imo, but he is basically hydra bust in zvp: the player. his zvt never seemed to match up well against top top top tier terran like active flash, light, last etc. and his zvz is good but meh. also mind made me a fan in that ro16 group selection ceremony. bro was not even paying attention half the time and his attitude was so zen, haha. interesting ro16 so far... ![]()

I actually love Royal, but mostly because he looked so funny with his cheeky grin as he pulled out disgusting cheese after disgusting cheese to win a whole goddamn ASL. That's probably not fair to his whole run but I distinctly remember him absolutely destroying a good Zerg (I think Soulkey or Hero from memory...) with crazy new strats. Straight-up I think JYJ is definitely stronger.
