Bo1 and bo3 is a totally different thing. We see many cheese plays because it's much more beneficial in bo1 than in bo3. It's especially bad for protoss in the matchup against zerg. I just don't see any benefits of it at all. At least make it bo1/bo1/bo3/bo3/bo3 if you really love bo1 so much, as the organizers seem to do (but only in main tournament? qualifiers are full bo3 which makes ro16 full bo1 system even more nonsensical).

It's a garbage system and should have been changed long time ago.

It might benefit the winners and losers series but when the A or S class guys come up against those below them it has been really ugly.

Agreed. It looks uglier when the weaker player don't even have the chance to adapt in the 2nd game. It's just terrible.

Stork plays daily. Ladder, sponmatches, Proleagues, KCM, etc. It is just that certain situations are unsalvageable.

Not like there's anything special in suffering as a Stork fan it just comes earlier nowadays than a decade ago. Which is arguably nice, it means less stress!
