We see many cheese plays because it's much more beneficial in bo1 than in bo3. It's especially bad for protoss in the matchup against zerg. I just don't see any benefits of it at all. At least make it bo1/bo1/bo3/bo3/bo3 if you really love bo1 so much, as the organizers seem to do (but only in main tournament? qualifiers are full bo3 which makes ro16 full bo1 system even more nonsensical). It's a garbage system and should have been changed long time ago. | ||

It looks uglier when the weaker player don't even have the chance to adapt in the 2nd game. It's just terrible. | ||
