Keep in mind that Python favors Terran in TvP, with just over a 60% win rate. Hwasin is 4-2 on Python TvP and 1-1 against Bisu on Python. Bisu is 3-2 on Python, taking wins from lowly Freedom, Flash and Hwasin. In their first meeting, Bisu (12) and Hwasin (3), Bisu starts with a fast DT drop against Hwasin's 1fact CC. The DT's do significant damage, killing 8-10 SCV's, stopping mining at the expansion, and delaying the building of factories. Bisu follows up by expanding to his nat and the main at 9, blocking it with pylons to successfully prevent an otherwise deadly vulture raid. Hwasin powers off of his main and nat, fighting for the middle, but Bisu defends. Bisu adds stargates and takes the top left expansion. Hwasin finally overpowers Bisu's ground units, but is famously warded off by scouts. GG In their second meeting, they get the same positions, Bisu (12) and Hwasin (3). Bisu opts for 1gate range, robotics, expand. Hwasin again with 1fact CC. Bisu brings out obs from the robo and both players get to macroing. Bisu attempts to take the main at 9 as in the previous game, but has major problems with vulture harrass. End result: he never transfers probes and loses some goons. I think this was the game clincher because Hwasin then slow pushes to expand to the min-only between his and Bisu's base, and Bisu lacks enough units to repel it. A mid-game DT drop does minimal damage. Bisu takes the bottom left "island" expand and techs for arbiters while Hwasin takes the bottom right and continues to push for Bisu's base. Bisu has no answer to the Terran push as arbiters come too late to have any effect. GG More recently, in his WCG games, Hwasin has offed 3 big-name Protoss players on Python: Stork, Much, and Nal_rA. In all 3 games he does 1fact CC, with slight variations in his build depending on what his opponent does, but he also gets either 12/3 or 6/9 positions in every game. It's hard to say if he'd do anything but 1fact CC. Like with his games against Bisu, he always expands toward the min-only and punishes his opponent for attempts at getting a 3rd nexus up. The only game that played out differently was against Nal_rA's 2-nexus carriers, but Hwasin still managed to win. It's difficult to make predictions when there aren't enough 12v6, 9v3, 12v9 and 6v3 games to look at. But if it's 12v3 or 9v6, Bisu has got to do something special to slow down Hwasin's Python TvP before mid-game. | ||

Against Light, it's a 12v3 like both of his games vs Hwasin. He opens with early zealot harrass and then reaver harrass. Light does 1fact CC. Bisu takes his nat and 9's main, again like in his games vs Hwasin, and this time he loses 9 as Light powers off of his 2 CC's. It seems his early harrass did not do enough damage. Light pushes on up to Bisu's nat to finish off the game. | ||
