ample did a 3 factory mech build with a sharp 2 base timing and completely stomped soma. he ended up building 13 turrets at soma's natural

Ample went mech and there was a goliath vs muta battle in the middle of the map. Ample won that battle and then did a move out with tank/goliath. He built like 10+ turrets outside Zerg's natural and Zerg wasn't able to break it. Soma did try to cut off reinforcements but Ample was able to take out Soma's natural and then gathered army and moved to 3rd and then gg

honestly speaking the quality of games for the ro24 is way up from last season's ro24

I assume its because everyone is playing high quality games on the ASL map pool on a daily basis.

i agree. last season's ro24 felt like an appetizer, i.e. the "real" games started in ro16. this season's ro24 has been wayy more entertaining, if occasionally sloppy.
