Loved the cute lurker micro when he was so up vs Hyun too, just style points. Bisu being Bisu, absolutely crushed with his initial zealot vs Hyun. Follow up w/ mixing in the DTs was just on brand too.

Some less mechanically gifted lower tier players feel they have to "outsmart" or gamble to beat higher tier players because both their mechanics and game sense for longer games don't hold up against the higher tier player. Sometimes higher tier players feel they can get away with cutting some corners or overcommitting precisely because they have better game sense and mechanics, which then sometimes results in the higher tier player making mistakes they would otherwise not make because there's a limit to what you can get away with cutting corners or changing optimizations. And then there's cases where a lower tier player knows/or thinks a higher tier player has a specific weakness they want to/can exploit. There's a bunch of gambling involved that can affect match quality.

At least BarrackS didn't disappoint and Bisu made it but I think he choked a bit with his probes too and got lucky, if Rax microed better he could get out 1st. Lower tier players often feel they have to do weird strats or cheeses to beat higher tier players because their game sense for longer games doesn't hold up against them. Sometimes Higher tier players feel the need to take out a lower tier player quick. And then you get weird games where players somewhat gamble against each other, change minor optimizations here and there, some cut corners or just pure cheese. I'm ok with any strats they put to table but boy the execution was something else... When was the last time zerg came back vs. T after 5 pool failed? Even S rank terran after holding on can just macro up and go kill the zerg without exaggerating. Sharp did impossible and lost when he had so many worker advantage. And then HyuN's clown engagement vs. firebats and 2 lurker dancing vs. m&m ball. Those two games didn't look like pro games that was what I trying to say.

I edited my comment a fair bit just so you know xd. Those games were pure gambling. Pure gambling games can look either bad or amazing.

Just before ASL start they implemented ads for international viewers. Live steam still works with ad blockers but VOD are required to watch ads.

Someone suggested it before and I turned the adblocker off but then realized I had two AdBlocker add-ons lol...

I should've given up hope for him a long time ago, but I can't let go. his tvt used to be something really special. he could fight from a supply disadvantage like almost no other terran, constantly outmicroing his opponent's tanks and doing crazy flanks. he made me a fan with those crazy comebacks but i haven't been impressed with his daily proleague or kcm form/results for a long time. i would put him on the level of ssuck now. best terrans right now are probably royal, light, rush then a huge powergap

Sharp and Mong have been fodder for the ro24 for almost 5 years.
