Interestingly however, I notice that in some high-stake games (e.g., ASL), he often completely changes his style, and resorts to early game aggression instead. Did he ever offer an explanation for that? Why would he risk a play style that he's not familiar with, whereas he could otherwise score an easier win with his masterful late game strategy? | ||

I doubt that he's not familiar with early aggression. He did a lot of 9 pool speed vs Bisu in the quarter finals a couple of seasons ago. The guy is responsible for 3 of the 4 shortest games in the history of ASL lol. He has a range of play. My take is he uses different styles vs different opponents. For example, against Mini who is probably the most dangerous player of any race in the first 5 mins of the game, it's probably not wise to engage on the multitasking battle with him, so late game strategy is the right way. | ||

Bisu is on a break until next year in 2024. + Show Spoiler + Mind has been on proleague winning streak lately. I feel sorry for soma though, it's his last proleague before military enlistment and he didn't win  . And now the zerg lineup has gotten even smaller. | ||

With the current format, it's difficult to know who Ssak beat in the ace match without referring to the previous section. | ||
