think about it this way. better chance for foreigner to go further if korean get knocked out in group stage than having to face them in bo3's later on

yeah but it wasnt always fake when koreans lost to foreigner, I remember in 2003 when fisheye beat elky, grrr, and then lost to ogogo 1-2 in final
and grrr beat skehgus_kr for the third place, but who was he ?

If Advokate vs Midas was the TvT on Korhal, that was a dropped game. I believe it was 4 rax 1 base m/m, while just sitting in base, vs Advokate's actual real tech build of tanks and such. I dunno I didn't see the game, just word of mouth.
Because 2004 was the year no foreigner even took a single game off of a korean except my 1-2 vs Foru if I recall correctly.

Hellghost's vs Ogogo game was dropped as well.

None of my games were drops, because Control actually had to fight hard for 2nd place in that group and wanted 1st place to avoid xellos.

I don't know about potto or 6club.

Nobody is saying ALL of the games were dropped
Some games obviously were not dropped games, the majority of them actually
But some WERE, and that´s a fact

The drawing system is stupid. And koreans have lost more games than these mentioned here. Out of my head I recall bykli beating eassay in 2002, Nazgul beating Gundam and Jesse beating Doggy in 2001. I believe that there are even more wins than that.

Considering sata is dead inactive AND his worst mu has always been vs Z I would easily pick Break/Lowely over him and wouldnt feel too incredibly uncomfortable saying eddy will win him as well.

sata is not dead inactive, just not in crazy mass gaming mode he gets in some periods. I guess he'll mass game before wcg however. on the other hand, he plays only for his personal enjoyment, never craving anything more, so I guess it's also a matter of mood for him too.

I don't know but after looking at the Korean WCG ceremony, it is not outrageous to think that the Korean might drop a game this year if it help all 3 to advance. Those guys are on a mission. I remember that OGN caster was like "don't even think about coming back without the three medals guys!" Koreans can be extremely patriotic and often individual will sacrifice for the greater good. If coach says drop, anyone of the 3 will without a flinch, wil drop a game.
