Sad to see the new hope of terran, Future of Terran going out like this... We can only hope we'll get to see the present of Terran get eliminated by falling for an overlord bait twice in a row like he did last season. Haha, there's no way Invisible Terran loses to Mafia Zerg. Damn them terrans with so many nicknames but don't even worth of one finger of the Ultimate Weapon. Light is terrible against Zerg compared to where he was 4+ years ago. Action is a really tough late game opponent in ZvT. His hive tech skill is top tier.

To be precise: Light is terrible against zerg in bo. offline matches. Action has horrendious record against Light online, more so just recently. Also if wedding wont cause too much distraction, Light has turned of his stream for now in order to practice. So even with current mappool and offline chocke I don't think its going to be onesided match.

He doesn't really need to hold it as long as he can bust Zerg main

I only aimed to refute the "No way light loses to Action" claim. You make great points!

With Light I feel like the statistical racial imbalance really magnifies. He was both #1 TvZ and #999 TvP in the KeSPA era. 2-3 years ago he finally started learning TvP though. (Or was he just following the racial imba trend?)
Either way I must trust Light is going to give Action hell. I will be really surprised if Light doesn't take at least 2 games off of Action. And if Light loses I think he's more to blame than Action is to praise. That said l love Action and hope he proves me he is ASL champ worthy. He has it in him. At one point Flash feared Action so much he got Action on KT. That always plays in my mind when Action is up for a ZvT Bo5.
I mainly think of Light and Action as Bo1 players though. It should be fun and I'm hoping for fireworks.

How did rush expect to hold either of the back stabs starting with essentially 4 rines at his nat vs at least 8 mutas + Ling's... Rush wasn't quite decisive enough and just got played by soma.
He couldn't know if soma was gonna defend or backstab and as soma was able to delay Rush's attacks and get his defense up Rush simply made the wrong decision.
If he had attacked before lurkers he could've come out on top of the base trade situation. Or if he had pulled back and played defensively into a bigger macro game he was in a pretty good situation still.
I think somas aggressiveness made Rush mistime things just enough and soma was really ontop of his micro and positioning in a lot of the battles and Rush just got smashed.
Considering how Rush was ahead at times and still got smashed I think this series shows a lot about what a fantastic game BW is.
I am disappointed in how short and one sided these games felt, but I really liked the series for other reasons.
Showing of decision making and timings and positioning vs. build order and planned strategies. I think these games really showcased a lot of nuances and parts of what makes Starcraft the best e-sport ever.
