And PvZ are both Min's and hero's best match up. It should be guaranteed fireworks. Now if Mini can deliver this may be a good finals, but I'm afraid Rush is in such good form Mini will have very little chance to win this finals. Mini has been dodging PvT since ASL 11 and it is his worst match up by far. I just don't see him winning this one. I'd give him a 10~20% chance at most. Where as Mini vs hero is much more 50-50. Much more exciting imho. Rush can always win next ASL vs Larva or Snow. That should give Rush much more praise than roflstomping Mini for his first gold. That said IF Mini can deliver the ASL 12 title can still hold good value for whoever wins this finals, but Mini has been notoriously bad at PvT like Light had been comically bad at TvP for almost all of his career. | ||

I don't even know, it's not like ZerO played bad but he wasn't prepared for shenanigans of Mini. ZerO needs more than that if he wants to advance further. | ||

Secondly, I share the same sentiment with him as well. Here's how: Clearly "past achievements" refers to past seasons. If winning R8 & R4 of the current season is the merit being discussed, then clearly both players appearing in the same game deserve the same chance. In that regard, Mini and Hero were both finalists or R4 players before, multiple times. While this is the first time ever that Rush enters the R4. Even among the Terrans, Light deserves a title more than him. If Rush wins this ASL, it's more a case of him hitting form and getting a favorable bracket than being the champion caliber player. | ||

He definitely deserves it based on this ASL season, but it's not what I'm talking about in my post... If you have followed the BW scene (or if you simply check liquipedia) you'll know Mini and Hero haven't won any ASL or KSL gold before while both coming very close on several instances. You can't say the same about Rush. Also Mini and Hero have provided us much more tournament entertainment (even during the Kespa era) over the years than Rush. Also for Rush's own story beating Mini for ASL gold is something that can easily be overlooked, despite him having excellent form as of late. I want the best of both worlds, not just a Mini vs Hero finals. | ||
