undead looks like he's losing. lost his deathknight + a ghoul already. and its just early game.

So then everyone is stuck playing the mid/late game, which pigeonholes everyone into the same build. All builds are virtually the same. Also unless your Moon, you'll almost always pick the same hero (depending on MU).
High food costs and low cap cause for small armies which can't be varied very well. Being able to macro off one base for the entire game limits the strategical value of the game too. Expansions are basically uneeded until your main dries.
Plus units take forever to die and basically only the raider can catch things.
So you have a formula for a very boring game to watch =/
it's still fun to play though, IMO

well I think this is gostop (estro uniform, and i kinda recognize his face, even though he's hard to recognize with short hair). He's a fiend user so his games tend to be rather slower paced.
A ghoul user would be at least a little more watchable, and it's painful that you cant fast forward tv games lol.

Holy shit I've never watched WC3 for more than 20 seconds before and I tried to now but it's impossible.

Ug, Death Knight died and UD GGed.
So...game 3? =/

WCG is completely unimportant compared to MSL / OSL, and it's important prelims are scheduled for tonight? (well i ugess ogn could have put it against mbc... but maybe they chose to show kart rider or smth instead)

Seriously, the TL.net bandwagon of "I hate it because it's not SC or it interrupts SC" is kind of gay. I don't mind if you feel that way, but you don't have to make 20 posts flaming everything because it prevents you from watching a game. You've watched SC a lot, does it hurt so much to watch something new? Or, alternatively, if you don't want to watch it, don't watch it. You have to realise that there are people on TL and in Korea that want to watch this. I know plenty of people on IRC that are now interested in WC3 after Blizzcon yesterday.
Please, keep your thoughts to yourself. They're really nothing interesting, and you don't gain anything out of complaining.
btw, haha, another game.

I dont understand a lot, but W3 doesnt look THAT bad to me. It's a different game.

i think they dont need to expand cause every unit is important in WC, and gamers always try to keep all of their unit. micro is more important than expand in WC3 ^^
|
Plus, are you sure OnGameNet said that SC would be on at 12? It could've just been WCG coverage starts at 12. Maybe WC3 was actually scheduled to start before SC and SC isn't supposed to start until later? I could be totally baseless on this, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are going to start going on about WC3 in a topic reserved for Starcraft don't complain when you get flamed.

Lol they were so excited about the sentry wards.

I'm not getting flamed. And what the hell am I supposed to do, this entire site is pretty much dedicated to Starcraft. I'm just saying War3 is not bad and people flaming it just so they can flame it really don't contribute anything.

The Tourneys section is dedicated to SC tournaments... complaining about WC3 coming on when we expect SC isn't rational but it's natural. When a group of friends gather and are collectively disappointed, the natural reaction, despite not actually helping anything, is to complain. I don't know how antisocial you have to be to not know this phenomenon, or how stupid you have to be to not recognize it, but either way is not good.
Oh and there is no such WC3-hating bandwagon. People here don't generally hate WC3 just because other people here hate WC3. They hate WC3 for their own reasons and there just happens to be a lot of us.

WC3 simply sucks, deal with it. And I'm officially sorry I woke up at 6am for this crap...
