The primary frustration with this player is not the fact that he bombs out in the first round of the play-offs. It's the fact that he is always performing overwhelmingly in these tournaments. Even when he pulls through his games are riddled with mistakes and decisions that are nowhere to be found in regular spon matches. It's pretty clear that he is a headcase and today Mini exploited him to the absolute maximum. As he ultimately declared in his post-match interview as well. Tournament play is pretty complex and heavy on mindgames, and if you're not Flash or Zero (especially vs P) then you should not assume that your strategy is winning (like skipping zealot, not aggressively scouting etc) because you should be better mid to late game. | ||

He posted it a few days after his elimination. I don't speak Korean but the video has subtitles, and its title is "Last competition" with a #retirement hashtag. Basically he was saying ASL12 will be his last tournament. In the meantime he's still hanging around with sponmatches and online tournaments I guess, but it's safe to say Bisu's lost his competitive edge. | ||

I think Bisu needs to hang on a little bit, he's not in his top form after military so I don't understand why he wants to quit... With Flash going army and Bisu retires, Stork isn't delivering, who knows if JD's comeback will be good, what we have left? Dark times approach. | ||

As for Bisu's retirement, it's probably for the best. His performances have been pretty uninspiring since returning from the military. Maybe this way he'll be motivated to go out with a bang. | ||

At least Mini will be a good match against Queen if JyJ doens't surprise me. I imagine BeSt might have flopped against Queen in Ro4. Sad to hear Bisu's tournament retirement  His Ro24 games were great and he's like the only one who's always doing the dragoon sweeping mine micro which is super fun to watch. | ||

 I think the way Mini played was top tier. This is how Flash played in his very first televised games, making people think he was just a cheeser who'd never amount to much. Sometimes to reach the top you just gotta run a circus show. | ||

He definitely seemed behind, temporally behind, in G2 though. Like you could see him making moves to Mini after Mini did them already to him in his base. Kinda showing that Mini knew the killer moves and Best was meanwhile flustered by those and playing catch-up. | ||
