Roia is probably the most BM player in the 2x2 community.

It seems like he feels the need to tell his allies when they make mistakes. But he is overestimating his understanding of the game and most times his assessment of the situation is wrong. There is a right way and a wrong way to discuss with someone if there were a better way for a certain spot to be played. In my opinion his way is not ok.

At the same time he seems completely blind to the mistakes he makes and if you try to discuss some of his mistakes, even in a manner way, the BM from him rises to a completely new level.

He has been very BM towards me as well. I have been insta banning him from my games as well, though I haven't played in the last 3 months. When I join others games, I tell the host that I dont want him in my team.

The reason we play the game is to have fun. Roia's toxic behaviour takes the fun out of the game. Everyone makes mistakes. That's how we learn. We make mistakes, we analize them, we play again and most importantly - enjoy the process (when roia is not around)

This happened also while I was using my admin account to ob games, which means it's a disrespect against the person, not the player.

And I don't want and I will not! invest my time and work for people who disrespect me as person. You and your leader were warned about this well in advance. The ban is a consequence of your behavior.

So others should post proof, but you're evading the same call for over a week now?

After alot of discussion going on within the iRk team about our future participation in BWCL.
I have tried to reason with Face to drop all of this and we just move forward. I also suggested to other admins that the rules need to change for upcoming seasons (after s53) so Marwin and Depleted can come back after this season. Otherwise same situation will appear in future seasons and most likely more within the 2on2 community will be banned. Fischei forwarded my proposal and it was rejected.

Basically my proposal was that no one should be banned without evidence and also should be a vote within the admin group, or the grand council. I understand BWCL is Face league, he alone runs it as head admin and has done a very good job so far. And ofcourse he sets the rules, but the league itself would not excist if there weren't for the clans showing up every season, and the reason we all participate is for fun, there is no prizepool or anything except a title. I field some of the best BW players in the foreign scene every week, as does most of the teams in Div-A, and that wouldnt be possible without hard work from me and the other clan leaders. We turn ourself inside out to be able to field the best lineups each week when sometimes BWCL collides with other individual leagues, we still manage to get our players to run from their own commitments to play for their respective teams.

Since this proposal was rejected I am very sad to say that iRk-A have come to the conclusion that we no longer can participate in BWCL. We won't accept that one of our teammates is banned without any proof or valid reason. I love BWCL, I have played in the league since it started back in 2001. I have enjoyed every season since remastered came out, we have been in every single final since the rebirth, and it's a shame that our journey ends after becoming champions for the fourth time.
iRk-B and iRk-C will continue their participation in BWCL. iRk-Ollin and iRk-Szini_ will take over as leaders of iRk in BWCL.
iRk-A wish you all good luck in s53 and in the future, and hope this great clan league can continue entertaining our community.

This kind of behavior has the potential, by setting a bad precedent, to prove detrimental to the health of the community. Petty issues between players (doesn't really matter who's right and who's wrong) should under no circumstances lead to big events losing teams.

We as a community have our share of bad-mannered players and while I do not approve of treating fellow players badly, it is 1) inevitable and 2) they somehow fit with the community, within a certain framework of rules when events are held. That should be it. Restricting people from participating in any event because of issues not really related to said event, with the foreign StarCraft scene being as niche as it is, is extremely counterproductive in my view.

We all bear responsibility for keeping toxic behaviour at a minimum, but event organizers have a much bigger burden to set the tone for the whole community. I'm not suggesting any course of action, I am just stressing that the foreign scene feels alive right now and it would be a shame to let it wither because we allowed petty grievances to guide big decisions.
