Does anybody know exactly what happened to Queen's drone line at 2:51:27: At 2:51:03 you can see Soma sneaking in 3 zerglings in Queen's main base, followed by Queen's 3 zerglings. The main was fully saturated at that point, but after some time we have got only two drones mining? What? Are you telling me that those 3 lings managed to slaughter every drone despite being deliberately in-pursuit by Queen's counter 3 lings? I am shocked!

The AI can be pretty dumb so probably the 3 lings killed the 1 ling they were chasing and then stopped so the other 2 lings got free reign in the drone line and killed 2-3 drones until Queen noticed it. It was a cool series, not the best but the final game was truly epic. Now sad to wait for the next ASL :'(

ASL ends up getting almost no English traffic to their platform & it's not like they sell ads globally anyway.. and now there's no blizzard bucks..

Aside from the work to put out Remastered have they done anything except a couple of showmatches at BlizzCon? All they did was dump bucket loads of money onto SC2 for the past decade to cut that game out too in order to invest more resources in e-sport leagues for 11 y olds.

They gave a lot of money to ZZZero for BSL.

I wouldn't be too worried as it would be an extremely random time to drop the english cast. Also is it me or is this season alot higher in terms of viewers watching the english cast? Also it might be a request to the viewers to nudge Afreeca to have an english cast for the next ASTL?

Blizzard was the main organizer of the KSL. They definitely didn't do anything in the pre-Remastered era and definitely pushed KESPA to adopt SC2 from BW, but the KSL was pretty great.

They've had always less well knows players on it so english cast could make it more interesting for foreign audience. Have they announced ASTL already? I usually use the english youtube stream and I feel like at least there have been more viewers as the chat has moved faster than before. No idea about the numbers tho.

I was curious if Queen was better with 3 or more control groups. I have come away thinking Soma is equal or great then Queen at 1 control group of muta or less. The second it scales, Queen stays fluid and every other player on earth, starts to have unit dis-unison. Queen is reaching Flash levels of discrepancy between himself and the other members of his race. The results read close, but I don't think it was as close as it seems, Queen needs to leave the streamer builds at home, he almost tilted himself off a cliff. -------------------------------------------------------- About the other, last page topics Can we lobby for Nyoken and Gypsy to cast KCM or ultimate-whatever-the-bo9's are called. The more of the amazing korean content we share with the world, the better our shot at keeping things going or growing. Blizzard threatened to destroy everything in bw unless they got to own it, to own something they didn't grow and never had plans to maintain. Typical corporate colonialism. I wish the Korean courts could have protected the scene from them but alas, they had their way and here we are - always one Sunday away from them deciding that any of our streamers, organizers or tournaments owe them any fee they can make up to continue. Hell, at any notice they could sever all ties with tl.net and sue them for any reason at all. Blizzard is a lion in a life-raft. Without blizzard we survived a giant match-fixing scandal, with blizzard involved, the same event destroyed the entire eco-system. Really hope we can expand the language menu for coverage of Korean events. I don't mind watching in korean, but it leaves so many potential viewers on the table. KSL was great. Can't deny that. It was really fucking dope.

A lot of money? Unless we're missing something. A couple of thousand dollars worth of battle.net balance (whatever that is) is hardly any support imo. It would be so easy for them to fully sponsor a string of tournaments for this game since even cheap prizes would garner some additional interest. However I would say that the only thing they've stayed consistent with is how they've marginalized this game since Remastered launch. Very poor production support, hardly any feature development, minimal e-sports commitment, diverting any kind of advertisement to SC2. As a result, both BW and SC2 will die off in 2-3 years, unless an external party commits a lot of money into SC2 (which I seriously doubt). I was under the impression that KSL was a Blizzard Korea thing (apparently that's different from the main company).
