also someone could also gather how many of each race there are and how many players from each team
if it says "무소속" it either means they're not on any team or its unlisted or something...so yeeaahh

Sea.Jang is real. He is actually very good, he was active in a lot of foreign events actually (ie. Sandlot, he had a sick game vs. Testie on Gaia). He's kind of like Only[S.G.] in that sense, really good, just never made it into the big scene.

somehow those last group matches 12-22 doesn't seem right. you have match 1 play, and the winner wins, but never plays again (M5 is M2 winner vs M3 winner, and M6 is M4 winner vs M5 winner, but no M1 winner?) maybe groups 12-22 will be 7 matches so match 1 and 4 play then the winners from 1/4 and 2/3 play each other.

i believe in groups 12-22, for match 7, you mean match 5 winner vs match 6 winner. otherwise, you have a possibility of a player playing against himself for match 7 >_>

They are certainly not playing offline qualifiers starting at midnight local time..., if you look at the calendar it says "Additional Information to be added." and "00:00" as time, which is the default time when you don't put anything.

Apparently they have scheduled three broadcasts: one at 2 PM, one at 6:30 PM and one at 9:30 PM, I'm guessing the 3 parts of the schedule on the 1st page of this thread correspond to the 3 broadcasts so I edited the calendar accordingly.

mnm start the run through the mineral choke, ling swarm goes up but the mnm try to run past this and past the sunks. attempt fails though.
lings try to challen the tank mass outside the choke, but mnm reinf arrives and cant do damage.

Z had a stop lurker at the mienral choke at 1, and terran army runs over it but z cant respond fast enough.

Z finally manages to push back the tanks ouside his nat, but now he lost his 1 main.
oh zerg had 12 expo. terran tries to eraser it, but vessles die literally immediately

Terran pushed back from the natural area. I think the Terran got the 1 hatch though. The Terran tries to cripple the 12 hatch with two vessels (he irradiated one) but two groups of scourge ruins the fun.

but terran comes now form teh right ramp, irradiate on defiler, kills all units there.
zerg manages to muster up a group of lings to take out the army there.
the assaulte on the 12 expo continues though

anytime goes in a 2nd time, this time with 2 zeals and a reaver.
1 turret was up for T, and 2nd was going up.
zeals take down the turret, reavers firing at tanks and now scvs.
2nd reaver out for anytime, it gets picked up. didnt see what happened to 1st.

Anytime drops a shuttle of 2 zeals and a goon into Dove's main minline. They do quite a bit of damage and disrupt mining for awhile. Anytime now waiting for his reaver which he gets. Two gateways are powered for Anytime. Reaver drops. Lots go to work on missile turrets. Anytime deals quite a bit of damage to the Terran, scoops up his next reaver and prepares the next drop.

they are chilling outside the zerg nat, 7 rines now, 2 meds coming with stim researching.
2nd sunk going, as lair starts.

Zerg going 12 hatch at natural. 2 barracks from Terran. 3rd Hatch coming in on top of ramp. Gas coming in for Terran and Zerg. Academy is building. Zerg isn't going to play agressive style, he only gets a few lings to chase the scouting SCV. Only one sunken is being built at the natural and the Terran has around 6-8 rines there.

scan on the lair, he doesnt see the spire. however, leta does begin to retreat his infantry with ideal timing.
3 raxes for leta, with turrets going up.
actually hsi timing is late maybe, mutas are going to reach base before the main mnm gorup

Terran probably waiting on stim, and he will attempt to break the sunken line Sync-style. Stium is done but he hasn't moved in. Spire beginning for Zerg. Terran's nat CC is about 3/4 of the way finished. A fifth sunken is being built. Nat CC is up. Zerg just waiting for his spire to finish so he can build the mutas he needs. Spire finished. A scan on Zerg main reveals nothing, since the spire is at the ramp. Terran moving back. Hydra den beginning for Zerg.
Mutalisks out for Zerg.

terror comign with 20 lings, goes right into the terran nat with muta ling right as leta sent a good sized force of mnm towards the 3 main to cancel the expo. he leaves 3 rines to finish teh hatch, heading back with his mnm, but muta ling is hacking at th eraxes.

Harrasement on nat of the Terran yields very few SCV kills, but that many mutalisks do kill a few marines. Terran moved out to kill the Zerg base at one and the Zerg moves in with mutalisks and zerglings. He gains acces into the main of the Terran and is raping the Barracks. The Rines who went out to kill the expo try and get back to his main, but humongous losses will probably seal the deal, as well as 2 lurkers in his nat min line. The Terran clears out his main, but a hive is being built and there are still a few units remaining.

the tank mnm that was pushed out fo the nat with defiler came comes back and fires at the lurkers at the ramp. that attack is cleared and the nat cc lands.

A scan forces Terror's units back, but they quickly add swarm to their ranks and push deep into Leta's main, Leta is in sever trouble as Terror affords a lurker for consume to stop mining at Leta's natural.

Vessels out for Leta who clears up the mess at his natural. More lurkers and defilers look to move around. Irridiate done for Leta as he makes a defiler his first victim. It looks like Leta wants to push to Terror's nat/main, but another force entering HIS natural forces him to retreat. Lurkers under dark swarms are seriously costing the Terran, who loses his vessel to scourge. Now his attempted push to the natural is severely hindered. A Queen is out for Terror at his natural. Leta must not have scan as just a few lurkers hold him up. The push by Terror has moved to Leta's ramp, but it doesn't really have enough firepower to continue. Leta's forces in the middle are finally reunited with a vessel, and looking to yet again push to Terror's nat, but another pair of scourge rains on that parade quickly.

However, Leta gets a fresh supply of troops from his barracks and factory, and holds for a few more minutes. Two vessels die, and there is a very sizeable force outside Terror's natural. Dark swarm, plague, lurkers, and lings all lead to Leta's GG.

The lower nat is done for Terror, who needs to finish the mineral wall before it's running. I believe he just has, and while two rines appear on the scene, a sunken repel them. A few more of their brethern join them and two medics are on their way. Spire has begun for Terror. Terror building up his sunken wall, Leta stims and gets 3 rines and 2 medics behind Terror's nat min line; however, Terror escapes with his drones. Spire is finished for Terror who attempts to counter with a handful of lings, but Leta is running on quite a few barracks right now.
Mutas are out.

Mutas clear out the few remaining units behind Terror's nat min line, and begins his hydra den. A few zerglings go first to scout out the scene, but are quickly forced to retrat by Leta's marines. Mutalisks pick off the Starport building SCV and are now looking to go to work on LEta's mineral line, but are chased away by Leta's marine force. A fourth hatchery is being built right now, along with a queen's nest for Hive Tech. Terror just doing mild harassment with his mutalisks, he can't really get to the mineral line because of the amount of turrets Leta has built around them. +1 weapons for the marines is done, and probably has been done for awhile as Leta adss even more barracks. Science facility is finished for Leta. Lurkers out for Terror.

Another expansion goes up at the bottom second nat for Terror. He attempts to move into Leta's nat with a nice force of lurkers and lings, but is repelled by Vessels, tanks, and rines. He has built up quite a force. A raid on the right natural of Terror is halted by two stop lurkers who nearly kill off the handful of marines. A battle near Terror's second natural ends favorable for Leta who only loses a few unts. More lurkers try and push the force back. Greater spire is building, and the defiler mound is finished. Nydus canal is buing built at the second nat. Scourge are coming in at the vessels. Dark swarm forces the Terran force back. I guess Leta does not have enough mana to irridiate. A handful of scourge bring about another vessel's demise. Dropship out for Leta, Mutalisks are becoming guardians for Terror. Leta drops two tanks on the cliff overlooking the second natural. Guardians are finished. My mistake, he actually dropped A tank, 4 rines. Dark swarm forces Leta to lift off his natural CC, he adds another expansion at the upper natural for him. The guardians get their own Zerg's swarm used against them and are quickly killed. A vessel overlookiing the nat, make that two now are quickly disposed of by Scourge. Terror using the nydus canal to make most of his assault force go down on the other natural of Leta.

Ahh, 3 goons force the "Push the dark templar over the mineral wall" game to come to an early end. Pusan adding in an observatory and a nexus on his upper natural. Pusan with 3 dark templar out. The nexus for Pusan is near finished. Ah, I think Pusan just scooped his drak templar up in a shuttle, as a citadel begins for Mojuk, Pusan drops one dark templar on the natural side of Mojuks base but an observer and set of dragoons end his chances of killing anything. Another drop on the main with two dark templar is quickly ended as well. Mojuk holds a huge lead right now. But don't count Pusan out.

Mojuk has no means of detection building right now, I believe. Ah, never mind his forge is near finished, but so is the Templar Archives for Pusan! Since they are cross distances, Mojuk probably has time to warp in his cannons, and his first is coming in. The first dark templar is out. Mojuk adding in a Citadel of Adun for himself, and if this is anything like the other game it will be for speed ups. The cannon for Mojuk finished but he moved his forces out! A dark templar is in Mojuks main and he has no means of detection!

Mojuk breaks through Pusan's units at his choke and goes on a probe killing tyraid with his goons, but dark templars eventually kill them off. Pusan also has his natural up and running and has killed Mojuk's main nexus. Things not looking good for Mojuk who has a dark templar out of his own, but he has detection. GG from Mojuk as soon as his dark templar dies.

Yes, this always happens. Off-line matches are generally the most feared by players, since there is so little room for error. It isn't all to uncommon to hear some person (say Nada, since I remember it happening to him) stay in the Off-line prelims a lot longer than he really should.

Uhmmm, not sure this is correct, if i am not wrong this is only the qualification for the Survivor League which leads to the real MSL. So i guess he has to go through Survivor League as well.

bisu, stork, braq, gorush, savior, 910[Ete], july and Hwasin.
So they are in the next MSL.

EDIT: ok after checking through my VOD database I'm sure there's going to be a Survivor League because like you said, there's like 019850932 people missing. So forget about what I said earlier... looks like mantoss has another round to get through.

I think that the 24 from MSL and these 22 here will make up the qualifiers for next MSL.
24 + 22 = 46

If the system hasn't changed, i think they pairs these guys here with the ones not reaching top 8 in the previous MSL, they play in double elimination rounds (12 groups) where the top 2 advance ... only problems is we have 23 (not reaching top 8 in previous MSL) + 22 (the guys here) ... there are still 3 guys missing :-(

So here's my little theory:
MSL has 8 seeds.
There are 23 players going to Survivor from MSL (not 24 since Oversky is out)
There are 22 coming up from Offline Quali.
That makes 45. If they had 3 more, it would make it 48..which means they'd divide into 12 groups of 4, and have 2 from each group advance, making it 24. 24+8 seeds = 32 for the next MSL!
The question is where do those 3 players come from? Maybe a tripple wild card?

Reach: For two seasons I was stuck at Preliminaries. It's been a long time. This time I faced only terrans 3 times. It was my first time playing on Desperado so it was difficult to practice on. But after practicing it seems to be good for Protoss. It helped me advance. Playing against 52Layla on Monty Hall I tried a double nexus but wasn't able to confirm my oponent's strategy and got harrassed very badly by Vultures. It was difficult losing the first game. At Proleague everytime we play on MBCGame Hero Center I lost. That's partially why I want to do well in MSL. Getting into MSL is my next goal. Since the maps seem to favor Protoss I will take this chance and get back up.

3 tanks and some mnm defend in main, as a mass hydra drop comes.
drop is pretty owned, the hydras die, and the lurkers that burrowed down manage to get a bunch of kills and so both players lose pretty much everything.
2 lurekrs left, and it loosk like OL are bringing in a bit more stuff.

P attacks 2nd base in right lane but is met by ultra ling so must retreat.
an ultra ling hydra drop in the center nat of P, cannons die, probes run, but some nice storms do reduce damage. it seems that the ultras will finish off the nex.
hydra ling ultra stampedes through the P expo in right lane, it runs back when it reaches the choke in front of the P right nat b/c of storm.

oh yea, stargate is up atm, and there is a terran push going up the left lane, it goes unopposed and reaches the left nat.
P seems to ignore it, mvoing down teh middle with all hsi ground force and 2 carriers as well.

STORMMMMMM 2 storms kill a good number of goons and damage a clump of tanks, busy reach space and time to regroup and mass more suff to fight this push with

a new shuttle is out for reach, it's heading along the northn edge of the map again.
it runs into a turret, scvs running back and forth, some shuttle mind games with zeals and ht being dropped and repicked up, vults firing at zeal, and after all of that, reach drops a HT into the terran nat and storms scvs to death again.
4 carriesr head out for reach, and he accidentally leaves one behidn so only moves out with 3

Airforce got owned. They announced a few weeks ago that they will not participate in the prelims. I don't remember why though.
What's odd though is according to a FiFo article, there are 22 players advancing from Prelims, and 22 players coming down from MSL.
That makes no sense to me since 32 - 8 = 24 - OverSky - 23. I don't know where they got the 22 number from.

I hope that doesn't mean Boxer's dropping out. I can't think of any reason any of the others would.

This prelims was the worst ever.
WORST EVER.
No one I love made it, truly truly dissappointing.

I think the 2 open spots will possibly go to 1: OSL champ and 2: highest Kespa rank not already in.
The 2 spots give the tournament organizers a little freedom to add more high quality players or fan favorites that were unfortunately knocked out of contention.

Maybe not a bad race but comment this plz, these is the race split for players who are going to play Survivor tournament (to qualify to MSL):

How do u see T having more players than Z and P together?

Such a big number of terrans goes mostly from previous leagues (Last OSL was 10T-3Z-3P, last MSL 17T-8P-7Z) where maps at preliminaries were really T-favouring. Look at this tournament. At first terran race is just more popular i believe. And look at the TvZ stats. It's horrible. Don't know much about Desperado TvZ-balance but TvZ at Monty Hall is really awful and the far the worse I think. There were more zergs in this tourney but they haven't been able to overpower Protoss race and failed miserably against Terran. So P and Z numbers are equal. Is my explanation enough for you?

Anyway i think there's some kind of serious balance issue, probably due to maps, but the biggest problem is that i don't think OSL and MSL will recover an adeguate balance of P-V-T players in the short time ...

so Iris, Anytime, GGPlay, Up, Pusan, etc don't even make it past the Qualifier part
