Probably not, lotsa long distance mining going on.
Bisu TAKES OUT STORK'S MAIN! Stork basically reduced to his bottem expo and no troops.
Eh? Stork saves the last of his tech at his main! Just out of curiosity, what happens if it really was stalemate?? GAME #6?? LOL? Hell, was there ever a starcraft game that was stalemate?
Sure. If fact, recently in Pantech vs OGN, Nal_Rock stalemated against Chalrenge because Chalrenge super turtled and Rock was unable to kill him. The refs called for a regame aftera bout an hour. Rock went on to win the next game and won the match for Pantech.

There was another PvP rematch on Nemesis soon after.

Surely, it seems like a fundamental mistake, but it's stupid to blame the loss on that. That kind of talk only serves to take away the brilliance of this game. Stork had a clear advantage up until the last big battle - goon range or not. He had a lot more units, while bisu had more upgrades and eventually faster arbiters. Bisu won the game with his stasis use though, it's as simple as that. Not so much the ones that hit the units, but the one that hit stork's arbiter alone.

The point is that since Stork had a clear advantage, goon range would have allowed him to dominate even more and take the game earlier, instead of having it drawn out so long.
But you would think he'd realize his micro was different in the middle of one of those fights. -_-;;

3 small mistakes cost him the game:
1. He forgot goon range. Who knows maybe the outcome of the mid-game battles could be different having his goons range upgrade.
2. Those probes dancing near the minerals at the wrong side of them really hurt his mineral increase.
3. Remember that Dark Arhon. Before the battle instead of going with the entire army and feedbacking arbiter he went somewhere to the north (dunno why maybe for intercepting arbiter making recall at his base). Arbiters hadn't been feedbacked and decided the game a couple of minutes later.
YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. BEESUIT FOR THE FIRST TOP1 KESPA PROTOSS.

I.e you're fucked without it. Not at all. You're fucked if it's about goon battles. In that game there were no pure goon battles, and when armies consist of zeal goon temp, goons shoot first of all at enemy's lots and the effect of missing the range is not so huge.

i understand why stork was pissed. hell, even i thought he was going to take game 5 as he basically maintained a beefier army for most of it. however, once you lose, you really should suck it up and just congratulate your opponent. be the bigger man and never say excuses after a loss. saying something like "if i didn't make mistakes i would have won" is silly. well duh, if you make no mistakes then theoretically your chances of losing are near 0. if you're really so good, you shouldn't be making such mistakes a critical moments anyway. instead, i would attribute such mistakes to the pressure of the grand final. bisu had to deal with this pressure too, yet he came out on top.
you see this behaviour all the time when you beat players who think they are strong (or stronger than you). the excuses pour in and basically everyone thinks less of that person because they are being a bad sport. i hope stork isn't like that, and it was just a disheartened reaction... kind of like the interviewer made out when he said to stork "a burnt child dreads the fire." in other words, he is being hostile because he lost such a major event, not because that's his nature. the crowd seemed a bit disgusted by his remarks too, if you noticed?

he wasnt that hostile you guys are once again blowing things way out of proportions >_<

Cmon, HE LOST a BEST of 5 so what if he made mistakes game 5. he still lost 3 games, if hes so much better, he wouldn't have win in the 5th set.

What a series! It really could have gone either way, and I was surprised that Stork came out ahead in build war matches and Bisu came out ahead in more macro oriented matches.
On Stork's comment about goon range... I take it as he was just reeling from everything, and bit unskilled in public speaking, and just blurted out the wrong thing. I never saw him as an ass in any other games, so I'll let this slide.
Congrats Stork. He stomped lots of ass. Congrats Bisu. Damn the kid is good.
