Rain 3-1 Snow. Rain has never lost a pvp series and I don't see why he would. BUT, snow is on a roll lately. consistently been #2 in sponsored games elo behind flash for a while now. meanwhile Rain has being played league and WoW, but it hasn't seemed to affect his offline play. Soma 3-2 Best. Ask me last week and I pick best. This is both their worst mu, but soma has been doing well in zvp finally. Light 3-1 Mind. Don't know Mind's current state but he's better than ForGG so he'll at least put up a fight. Light ofc has looked great since he came back from his brief protoss flirtation.

Many of them have at least a silver(or multiple ones)! Absolutely agree. Mini and Snow have both been runner up twice (and Snow's defeated the defending champions I think three different times now), I'd love to see either of them. Light and Mind, both good Terran players but never the best, the new/returning zergs, etc.

That being said, Sacsri yesterday showed that his mid-late zerg gameplay is really impressive. It's been a while since I've seen zerg macro that well in an offline game, excited to see how he looks next season. I'll go for Zero, Rain, Soma, Light

Zero waited for the perfect opportunity (when the toss army crossed this high ground middle base) to clear all mini's HT with his hidden muta control group.

I was just ready to watch the final matches of Round of 16 and get hyped for the Round of 8... so Round of 8 is already over by the next day? It's probably a budget thing where doing all matches the same day is more cost efficient, but it's very difficult to get excited and pumped about the KSL when everything feels so rushed.

I think he has the hardest road if it is two zergs. Light has the best chance of anyone by facing two zergs.

Yeah, if Mini couldn't win vs. Zero I really doubt Rain can. While I'm sad to see Mini go, I'm glad Rain can't PvP his way to the trophy again.

Well, I would not call Rain's PvZ "questionable"; it's most likely his weakest matchup, on the other hand. Rain is untouchable in PvP, he has a good PvT(worse than Snow's and Best's, his sponmatches record against Light is negative as far as I know) and a very unreliable PvZ that can be either great or disappointing. Light vs Zero is the final I would personally like to see and I'd give it decent odds to take place.

Questionable literally means " a very unreliable PvZ that can be either great or disappointing" to me lol. So we are in agreement! :D If you have a better single word for that definition, I'll use that in the future.

And I'm surprised nobody mentioned the games Soma played. That guy just reinvented zvp and it's like nobody noticed! For the semis, Zero will 4-0 Rain, no question about that. But Soma vs Light, I would say Soma has 60% chance to win. Unfortunately that means we will get zvz finals.

And he has been practicing them a ton versus Bisu. He is more impressive in the same way Fantasy plays Terran. He can take a strategy from someone, master, and execute it brilliantly.

I think soma seems to be on a hot streak - he's definitely got some fire in him - but light is the heavy favorite unless he chokes big time IMO.

I REEEEEEALLY hope Rain doesn't win that one. With all the potential for great stories this KSL that would be somewhat anticlimactic. The tournament feels rushed anyway, no need to feel even more routine.
