They're just players who love the game just as much as we do, so why should they be not allowed to play? Being korean doesn't make you better, they all just worked really hard to become so good

WHITE is a korean clan, since 1999, they entered this league as a Korean clan...
SouL is a team, not a clan, Fuji runs it like a bussiness, he pays these koreans to play for him wearing the SouL tag even in ASL.
vT is a Mexican clan, that registered as mexican, and now is using his contact with Wico to maybe win a league under their name, cuz their main foreigner roster can not win shit. if any Wico members qualified for ASL or KSL i dont think they will be wearing the vT- tag on the stage.

that my friend is the difference between vT, SouL and WHITE.

^ MY POINT, and the main reason why i never even thought of telling any Ever member to be a part of dM for STPL, if Ever want to participate in STPL they should be playing as Ever)( , just like WHITE is doing...

Koreans are not unbeatable and teams such as iRk and NW proved last season that it's more than possible to do it. STPL will always be a tournament about preperation, organisation from the teams and strategic thinking to take down players. ReV didn't perform the best last season in terms of overall victories, but Madinho stepped up and not only took a TvT off of ByuL he also took a TvZ vs Spire. Other players also had similar successes and their success stories formed a fabric of what lead to be the entire storyline of STPL Season 1.

vT joined up with WiCo to compete as one clan in this season and while I hear why didn't WiCo sign up as themselves, yes they could've done but then it might be harder to have an interface between them and myself. WHITECLAN's leader GyRo has relatively good English and if he can't deal with something someone else in WHITE (NyamNam) is practically fluent so he deals with everything else. By joining together with vT they find that interface with Crossy and the other vT leadership and it allows them all to focus on playing together and improving together.

One of my strongest goals with STPL was to bridge the gap between the Korean and non Korean StarCraft scenes and with how well all the foreign teams did last year against WHITE and SouL and how much the players in WHITE enjoyed themselves and wanted to get more involved I am happy to say I plan to continue that goal into season 2. I want the scenes to coexist together, I want to give people from all areas a chance to play in the STPL and I want to show more koreans that there's a lot of fantastic foreign players who shouldn't be ignored.

I understand that some may think this is sudden, but this is something I've known about a little while and deliberately chosen to wait to announce it with this showmatch hoping it would be a pleasent surprise, but apparantly I should've said something sooner! I personally can't wait to see this showmatch and see how some of their new members play against one of our strongest veteran teams in the league. I hope you'll all join us next Monday to see as well just how far iRk have come from the very beginning and what the new vT members bring to the table!

EDIT: One thing I'd love to point out in a jokey way is everyone is almost on the same level going into STPL as nobody has played the maps.

I don't necessarily see any issues with koreans participating in Qik'z STPL but there is some validity of teams recruiting koreans only for the specific reason of winning their teamleagues and bringing their reputation of being a winning team up.

still quite surprised when guys like vT-sfca, vT-Galaxy, vT-MrPlow, and vT-CroSsy aren't participating in in the show match. I'm sure any one of those guys can easily take on whoever IRK has due to their position in BWL.
