Mind's TvZ is great, he might upset Effort; Last would be favoured over Sharp if he was healthy, both have some of the best TvT. Rain should steamroll Horang 2 while Calm and Mini are kind of unpredictable players. | ||

The left side of the bracket should be fun, mini and calm were teammates so there should be a lot of mind-games going on, and Mind and Effort are both pretty fun strategic players. Expecting: mini 3-1 calm effort 3-1 mind sharp 3-0 last rain 3-1 horang2 Last seems like the biggest wildcard, not sure how good his mechanics are anymore but he won't be able to get 3 BO or cheese wins against sharp who is playing so well lately and probably overtook him as the best non-flash terran. If last can get back to where he was last year during his KSL win then it's a totally different story, but it seems like he isn't there any more :\ | ||

Mini's peak is as high as anyone. Wouldn't be shocked if he made the Finals. Major recency bias re: effort. Yes, he's looked great recently, but he's had major flops before, and the history of brood war shows a non-gosu player rarely stays hot for too long. Just last season Rain looked like an overwhelming favorite. And remember when Larva looked completely dominant a few years ago? | ||
