Hey Guys, just stopping by to announce the foreigner only tournament that I’ll be hosting with Ty2 called Let’s Go!
This tournament is all about having a good time, and making new friends, while also showing the entire community why you’re the best foreigner player. Remember, with SeriOsity's new official tier list making the rounds, you’re really going to want to put forth a good showing so you don’t end up in the nosebleed tiers.
Format:
Bo1 until Ro16.
Bo3 afterwards.
Finals are Bo5.
The event is single elimination.
Ro32 and before Starting Map: Circuit Breaker
Ro16 and after Starting Map: Neo Sylphid

Players from Korea are not eligible to play
Semi's and Finals will be casted live. If a caster or admin asks you to let them into the game, you must let them cast your game.

The last time I saw a rank restricted tournament, it was a newbie tournament that higher ranks smurfed into anyway. Unless it's an invitational, no tournaments would restrict registration on the basis of rank.

For someone who plays a few games of BW after a smoke sesh, S rank is an accomplishment for me.
I personally think S rank should be 2300 or 2400 MMR or so, not 2135 or whatever it currently is.

In my opinion, just play the match, EL.
To be honest, you're going to lose, but who cares. It's better to play and not back down; at least then you have that going, it's more respectable than not playing at all. It's always better to play a match, lose, and own up to it, than be perceived a "dodger." I think the theme of this thread has transitioned into you being the dodger since TT1 said he'll "play you in 4 hours."

Since it's obviously too difficult for you to come up with a logical conclusion on your own, I'll break it down for you.
I admit I'm not very good in my current form, yet I'm still able to obtain S rank without any losses.
Either S rank is too easy to obtain, the competition isn't very good or my current form which I consider horrible is still fairy decent. Maybe even a combination of all three. I believe S rank is too easy to obtain.
Nobody should be able to reach S rank, the highest rank possible, in an hour or under 10 games. This has literally been the only ranking system in the game of StarCraft where one can max out in under an hour. I personally think S rank should be around 2300 or 2400 MMR. If you have 0 S rank accts with 0 losses right now... Either you aren't laddering much, or you aren't very good. You're obviously very good since you said you'd destroy me in any matchup, correct?
All of this was based upon 1 ladder game where I did a 3gate goon all in vs nexus first into cannons. A game which you admittedly said you almost lost after it was played. TT1 logic at its finest :/

Ive never been a tournament player, as most of the tours are held on weekends during the day. I don't play at those times. Ive played ladder under the radar since pgt, wgt, iccup, fish and now RM. I think I've played in 2 tournaments in the past 15 years.
This was one of them where i got emilnated by Julia in a lagfest, and the other was more recent where I lost 1-2 to kawaiirice and got eliminated.
