Well commentators get a lot of crap for lack of BW knowledge which i tend to agree with - obviously theyre used to sc2 which is a very different game afaik - but theyre both very likeable and still enjoyable and so much better than no english commentator at all (if one disagrees one can choose to watch it with korean commentators) and also Rapid simultaneous translations of interviews etc is high level and much appreciated.

Looking forward to ASL season 7, I hope they keep em coming!

my problem with rapid is that he doesnt put any effort and he is lazy...
how hard is it to check maps and how they look like before casting? its five minute check.
he keeps repeating basic things which are simply not true.
Dont want to imagine what would my boss do if i was lousy at my job not to mention that i would be embarassed for my work performance.

That's literally the complete opposite of what Rapid is. Dude, he stays up until 4-5AM to cast STPL with me because he wants to improve. He actually looks up player history and everything lol.

Thank you Rapid and NoRegret, I really enjoyed your commentary! Yours hearts were in this, and you showed it. Rapid your love for Broodwar is so clear I was touched by your finals comments at the end, respecting all our journeys to this point, mentioning all the old commentators - absolutely epic.

Effort's emotional speech, so good. I'm so happy for him. And flash was so respectful. If he still felt hurts from that reverse sweep back then, this series would have fixed it regardless of losing. What a beautiful finals.

Great games. That was real old school BW mixed in with the new. The low eco micro intensive builds were a pleasure to watch.

That defence of the vulture drop/wraiths in game 5 was amazing and deservedly turned the game for Effort. Such incredible multi tasking and star sense there.

Effort's sets against Rain, Last and Flash have been some of the most spectacular I've ever seen, he kept bringing out of the box strategies and executing them flawlessly. You could tell how well prepared he was against Flash just by looking at how exceptionally well he handled any harassment or drop coming his way in game 5.

He was for a long time a player with amazing potential not quite delivering the performances he was capable of, it's always fun to root for the underdog and then seeing these kind of results.

Thanks to NoRegret and Rapid for the casting, I can't wait for Season 7 already.

Just finished watching the VODs - what a great series! Was certain Flash would win, even tough Effort seemed really, really strong. But Effort is proving to be a real beast!

Awesome games! :D (even though Game 1 and 2 were a bit "wham, bam, thank you, ma'm")
