I'm talking about the truth in these 2 games by rA, not his overall style. Both games go to reaver harassment + shuttle speed like rainbow usually does every game. In the first game, his reaver didnt do much damage and oov ran over him with superior macro. He lost horribly in the first game. In the 2nd game, he was behind but Midas choked in the elimination race. It's all like rainbow games, either lose so horribly or make a weird comeback. What's wrong with you ?

Maybe you havent noticed but Reaver after expansion is becoming INCREDIBLY common for all Protoss in PvT.

Its not Ra just fucking around or trying to lose or copying Rainbow. The first game was a good example of what happens when you get a little carried away with "chess planning" your next moves. Ra expanded a lot + made carriers but his critical mistake was losing ground in the center as well as a good amount of units. oov simply smelled blood and went for it, if he hesitated or Ra had different movement in center(ie had his units go to the right instead of down towards his main) then he could very well have won the game.

Its not like oov isnt one of the best Terrans out there anyway.

And anyone who thinks he was behind vs Midas has 0 experience with upper level play. Sorry. He was absolutely working Midas' defense perfectly by threatening top left and then repeatedly going to Midas nat or dropping his main. Once he had decent carrier numbers and temp tech he knew he could go for the big counter and win easily.

You haven't seen enough Rainbow play.
Rainbow and Ra don't compare, period.
Ra is the best Protoss ever, Rainbow is... a protoss. End similarities.

Nowadays, Rainbow spams templar and hopes for some godly psi storm mass kill cuz he sucks at everything else as a pro. His reaver control is even mimicked by so many others now.

What the fuck are you talking about? Your explanations are all wrong too.

Nal_rA's first reaver did quite a lot of damage. It made 8 scv kills at OOv's natural, then proceeded to kill half the scv's at OOv's main, while damaging 3 tanks.

The only reason why Nal_rA didn't win was because he wasn't able to stall OOv's timing push long enough for his 4 carriers to be of any use. Had OOv waited at least 1-2 more minutes, then Nal_rA would have had 4 carriers full of interceptors and would probably have won the game.

Nal_rA did the same thing against Midas, except he was able to stall Midas long enough for his carriers to be used in battle. Nal_rA didn't lose "horribly" in the first game vs. OOv. He did quite well, actually.
